A friend of mine has been in the Air Force since October of 2004. He has been sent to a few bases in Tx and as of August of 2006, he was deployed to Japan. Plenty of his friends who do the same thing he does have stayed in one place throughout most of their air force career. I want to kow how they choose who to deploy and where they deploy them to? Does the Airman have a say in anyhting. I mean, can they request to be sent whever?

I know it's embarassing for Bush devotees, but it's true, and you won't hear about it on Fox News.

I have established that if you want to be a pilot, or more specifically, a fighter pilot, you have to be an air force officer. I checked on "www.airforce.com" and it seems to imply that you have to be a college graduate in order to persue becoming an officer. I am 19, will be 20 in october, I have no college experience, what exaclty do I need to do or start doing in order to get on track to becoming a pilot in the air force?

My ASFAB test were impecible! I qualified for every job available in any branch of service. I GREATLY respect the U.S. Marines!!! However, I think I would "fit in" better in branch like the USAF or the Navy. I have plenty of college behind me, but I respect the service so much I want to join; I just don't know which branch to join. Somebody please help me!!!!!!!!!!!

How much warning does the army have to give before they put a person on stoploss? How exactly does this work?

It would seem that if they are truly against military action, they would not purchase these items. The money that the military recieves from liquidated surplus goes into the budget. They seem to intentionally fund the thing they protest.

Iran has done it before in June 2004, 8 British sailors were blindfolded, paraded on television and subjected to mock executions before they were safely returned. Sounds a lot like the taliban huh?

Also, what do you think would have happened if those had been American sailors that were captured.

I used to go to the MatrixM website and they had ringtones from Full Metal Jacket and Gunny Ermey. That website is closed now. When we upgraded our phones I wasn't even thinking about saving the FMJ ringtones I had to chip, before I knew it, it was too late. Or if there isn't any websites is there any way to download stuff to my phone from CD's? I know grunt.com sells those cadence CD's.

How long should England wait before taking military actions? If they execute them should they then go to War? Diplomacy is great but when do you say enough is enough? Do you think Iran thinks the West are pushovers?

Why do I have to wait a year before joining the army? THen others that did worse things were allowed to join , either join or go to jail. I really want to join the navy or army and the army recruter told me I would have to wait a year, I haven't talked to the navy yet, the marines said they would take me if I wasn't on probation, but I don't want to join the marines.

Anyone know anything about this?

I really need to enroll in a dental care program, I know that most military dependants can go through something called Concordia, but I just looked at their website and it didn't seem to help. Does anyone have personal experience with this, or know how much it costs? If it helps, I am a navy wife. Thanks!

It did not in Vietnam and it will not in IRAQ....our troops need go home , watch football and play with their cars.

Our troops will nor stick in IRAQ...why should they....they have no reason for being there.

US politicians are corrupt and evil...why should our troops enforce the horror and greedy nature of our leaders??

Courage is spitting in the face of evil....in this case the Secret Service is guarding the faces of evil ..George Bush and Chicken Cheney.

Courage is not aiding the rotten hearts of EVIL sick american monsters in Washington DC. These monsters have hijacked the american flag..just like Hitler did in 1933

I'm right in the middle of my nursing school and I have decided (when closer to graduation) to sign up with the Public Health Corps. In the long term I would like to be regular active duty. I'm 29 now and I know that age and being a single mom (divorced) places an obsticle into signing up for active duty right now. I just want to wait for my kids to be a little older before going regular active service. I'm also hoping that with a good performance record in the USPHC to recieve an age waiver to go into what ever branch I want. I want to be in the Marine Corps in the long term.
