Excellent question.
We are so terribly spoiled in America. Sadly, far too many of us don't appreciate our freedoms. If we did, more people would be educated and informed on national and world affairs. I think it's embarrassing as hell that more people in this country vote for American Idol than in political elections. Of course, when I see how little the average person knows about politics, I'm kinda glad they aren't voting. What a disgrace.
Freedom comes with great responsibility, and we are not proving very worthy.

When people started attacking each other for reaching different conclusions on what's best for the country.
It's the obligation of citizens to speak out, and to elect leaders who will serve the country. What constitutes "serving the country" is different depending on what each person values.
The vets who defended this country didn't do is so that everyone would fall into lock-step behind a single thought. They defended it so that diversity and freedom of expression were not silenced in the name of tyranny.

It's real simple, you got the brave and the liberals, the 30% of the brave get killed off during wars, so they don't have a lot of offspring, so now it's the 70% of the brave left and the liberals keep having offspring and polluting the country, until you get to where we are now, then while the brave are off fighting a war, the liberals go to Canada and get aFREE college degree, Jimmy Carter says "you liberal cowards can come back to America", so they come back and get great jobs with their college degrees and block any advancement of veterans in that company. Then they invent words to cover their wacko ideas. like A.D.D., means a child is not responding to their TIME OUT policy, so they put him on medication and therapy, when a belt will cure all of it or if they live in a 10,000 sq. ft. house and burn energy like the space shuttle on take off, they tell us we need to conserve energy, because of Global Warming

Since more and more Liberals have been graduating from college and announcing their crazy ideas of what life should be. A life they have never really experienced before and now believe that they want to change everything to a new age.
