I have established that if you want to be a pilot, or more specifically, a fighter pilot, you have to be an air force officer. I checked on "www.airforce.com" and it seems to imply that you have to be a college graduate in order to persue becoming an officer. I am 19, will be 20 in october, I have no college experience, what exaclty do I need to do or start doing in order to get on track to becoming a pilot in the air force?

Yes, you have to have a four year (bachelors) degree to become an officer.

There are programs to allow you to enter the Air Force as an enlisted member and pursue your degree while you are working your AF job. When you have your degree you can try for a commission and become an officer. There are several programs available.

I'm sorry to inform you that you live in a dream world. Not only will you not fly in the Air Force, but you will not fly in the Marine Corp or the Navy, or the Army.

How do I know?

I read your question.

if you don't have a pilot's license, the air force will have u get one first.

the easiest way to become an officer is to get a congressman or senator to nominate you and go to the academy. and the airforce (unlike soem other branches of the military from what i understand)you dont always get to pick what it is that you do once your in. they do aptitude tests and place you in the field that you are most suited for. what you need to do is go to a recruiter and discuss this with them and they will be able to give you more details

Talk to a recruiter. The military will pay for your whole college education if you agree to enlist.
