In terms of technology Britains Airforce (more like England and Wales) is behind only the U.S (Most of their technology is developed by the U.S). Iran doesn't have much of an airforce except for some soviet era aircrafts they purchased in the late 80's and early 90's.

Iran doesn't really have an airforce. It might have some working planes (aircraft are very high maintance and they haven't got spare parts in years) and pilots that can get them in the air, but that's about it.
The British airforce is ok, but they have sacrificed their navy for it. Every British ship is vunerable in the region to the Iranians. Iranians have been buying all sorts of anti aircraft and anti-ship missles. Iran could also get the Shiites to attack British air bases in Iraq if they have any. Remember the British are pulling out of Iraq so they might not have much of a force left there. Britian is actually weaker than what it was during the Falkland Island fighting and Iran is far superior militarily than Argentina.

The British Air Force is far, far superior to that of Iran. The pilots have been tested under war time conditions, English aircraft design is second to none, they have Superior and more modern equipment. I would match Britain's Air Force against any country's except the USA>

If England wants to get serious with Iran they will and they have just what is needed. The British SAS is an world elite special forces unite comparable to the US navy seals. England sends those guys, Iran will be regretting this whole situation. They will sneak in undetected, find their countrymen and split, probably leaving quite a few dead Iranians behind.

Britains airforce is smaller and 10 years behind the American Air Force. Iran is 15 years behind that and smaller. What does it matter? Britain has nukes.

From the start of flight, the British have been in love with flying. They have one of the best group of pilots & planes in the world. I doubt that Iran could match them in any way, shape of form!

The UK has prolly the best airforce in the world..i wouldn't want to mess with the RAF
