The smart ones are already exporting start-up and IPO money. Other things would be ideas and patents. There are very few things that can't be made in Vietnam cheaper than in America. Things such as farming, pharmaceutical, construction and high technology are rapidly becoming integrated into Vietnamese life.

To respond to Donie's post, Vietnam is a mostly Buddhist country. There is one Muslim temple in Saigon as well as many Christian churches through-out the country. You'll never hear of a Buddhist killing non-believers, or for that matter, blowing up abortion clinics. The secular government is all to happy to place those maniacs in front of a firing squad and send them along to meet their God.

The only thing the US can export to Vietnam that they can afford? Let's see. Most in Vietnam make 2 to 3 dollars an hour. Most workers in US industry, what is left of it, make anywhere from 7 to 12 dollars an hour.

Maybe we could divert some of the Chinese products to Vietnam. Hundreds of millions of goods are on the seas daily. Could send one in a hundred. They would benefit, we would not have to buy the cheap junk.
