There were thousands of POW's imprisoned during the WW's, Vietnam, Korea... so where do the terrorist keep all their POW's? Why is there no media coverage about them? I dont buy that there are only one or two every so often caught on those "hostage" videos.

I've taken practice tests and scored extremely well in the mathematics, science and language sections. I do poorly in the one section on mechanics and levers and such though. What kind of stuff should I learn to maximize my score? I know I don't really need to improve it, but I want to for myself and because I belive putting in the extra effort might make a difference at some point. So what should I specifically learn to do well on that section? Thanks.

It might have slowed bombing but it would be enough. They couldn't really mass produce them and I just want to know what you people think.

I am a split option DEP. I'm 17, and ship to basic training to fort benning georgia 20070522. And then when I get back, finish my last year in high school. They told me up front that I will not be able to select that MOS because 1) In high school, and 2) I think, because I am not 18. They said I can pick a MOS with the BCT Fort Benning location(i chose 63B - veichile mechanic) because it was either that or chaplain, for basic training at fort benning. They said 6 months after i complete BCT, i am allowed to switch my MOS prior to my graduation. Does anyone know thoroughly about this, to where I will be guaranteed a MOS switch(guaranteed by liasion and recruiter) and not be stuck with 63B?

as a combat vet, with my own problems, psy has been prety inefective, but groups with other vets have kept me hopeing..

The vets who were my inspiration have never been acknowleged by my hospial , nor will they ever be...

The people who serve those of us who served are compasionate, but all are civilians, few if any vets work in the burocracy..

A vet with combat experiance, and psyc insite cannot be employed by VA without credentials, deplomas, or certificates....

I would prefer the councel of another warrior, than the counsel of a book schollar..

Aparently i am not just howeling at the moon, other vets seem dissatisfied with the profesional predudice as well..

How say you...?

How do I get rid of an online stalker? this female is a cousin of an ex bf's girlfriend and she pretends to be someone else (i.e. she pretends to be a male and she emails/IM's me to gain access to information about me). She googles me to see what sites I've been in and uses that to harrass me. People must be very sad and pathetic. How do I get rid of them? She managed to track me and got me to believe her one time that she's another person but now she can't fool me. How do I get rid of her bec. she is annoying and not to mention harrassing? I want to report her for online harrassment and stalking. Her character is def questionable. She is a psychopath capable of anything.

I'm signing up for the National Guard and will be taking my ASVAB soon. I've taken several practice tests and scored in the 90's. I've been told this is a good score. (I'd actually like to try and get it up a bit higher, so I'm studying.) Assuming I get above a 95, how will this influence my enlistment? I plan on becoming an officer after I finish college. Basically, what I want to know is, how will getting a very good score benefit me?

You can chose between these locations...
-- Fort Bragg, North Carolina
-- Fort Campbell, Kentucky
-- Fort Carson, Colorado
-- Fort Lewis, Washington

In your answer, tell me which one and why? The best answer gets 10 points!!!!! I want good reasons why... I might be going to one of those places and would like others opinions on the locations, the area, the things to do, the schools, etc.

That is EXACTLY what good journalism is supposed to do. If Congress and the courts are too big of pansies to keep the Executive branch in check, then those few remaining portions of responsible media (not cable news) are even more important.

In my community, if you didn't serve in Iraq no one will talk to you. I've been deployed twice overseas, a year ironman tour in Korea on the DMZ, and 2 months in a combat zone in Oman Jordan. I was discharged for schizophrenia and no one in my hometown respects me. In fact I've had comments, people have spit in my yard, and someone even told me I should be overseas getting killed. This is luducris. People are so ignorant as to what veterans have really done and the real missions at hand. The only thing they say where you in Iraq? Guess what folks we are deployed to so many countries around the world that people have no idea whats going on.
