That is EXACTLY what good journalism is supposed to do. If Congress and the courts are too big of pansies to keep the Executive branch in check, then those few remaining portions of responsible media (not cable news) are even more important.

I'm not sure when exactly the Washington Post became a bastion of liberal journalism, but I do agree that the Walter Reed article was a fantastic bit of investigative reporting. The fourth estate is just as necessary a part of the checks and balances as are the three branches of government.

So yes, I'm glad. Hurrah for responsible journalism.
