15 came from Saudi Arabia, 3 from Iran and 1 from Yemen. What, if any, action should be taken in regards to these countries? Please bear in mind that Saudi Arabia, prior to 9/11, had training camps (we captured them on film) but afterward denounced terrorism and became our ally.

I served in the army for 3 years, finished my active duty requirements and am now in the Inactive Ready Reserves. I talked w/ a navy recruiter and she said I would have to submit my DD214 and wait 6 months to see if they'll accept me. She sounded like she didn't know to much and I was wondering if their's any truth to this.

BTW my MOS was a 54B, chemical operations specialist.

I know it was an objective discussed long before we declared 'the war on terror". I feel they tied it in with 9-11 to gain the support they needed. There may have been a legitimate reason it should have been done, his ties to terrorism are not established to my knowledge. He had biological weapons at one point, and was gaining nuclear power until Isreal knocked out the plant, I think in the late 80's . It doesn't seem he was an immediate threat to our country,I would have felt better if they had spent the billions on border security, disaster preporations, and intelligence gathering. I don't think our governments past or present administrations are idiots, I do think they keep a lot from the common people- who they feel don't have enough interest, knowledge,, education, and intelligence to just be told the facts and make good decisions. So is there an uncommon person on yahoo answers who has the time and knowledge to explain to me why was it important that we get rid of Saddam?

What will it look like? I mean, will attacking Iran further complicate Russia's role, as a weapons supplier, and will somehow get involved directly? And now with China's stance as a supporter of the USSR, could there be a greater chance than ever for a giant conflict to take place?

Are there a member or members of President George W. Bush's family on active duty in the US military and stationed in Iraq or Afghanistan?

I'm sure this question may seem partisan, but I'm looking for factual information, preferably with a source to back it up.

Thanks.

What is so threatening about gays in the military? Is it that the guys won't bond as well as a fighting unit if there might be a gay in the bunch? Being in California near San Francisco - I've worked with gays for years professionally. If you don't bother them they don't bother you. Never been grabbed or propositioned once! And some of these guys are some smart. So why at a time when recruiting is so difficult would the army see the need to exclude people from its ranks?

Bin Ladin knows the U.S from the back of his head and while sleeping. I personally think america is afraid that not only he knows too much about this system he can be the "key" to unlock many of Americas secrets to the world, I'm talking about top secrets from past presidents and the whole Bull **** that america gives us to coverup thier dirty work. Trust me BL knows more than america can handle and if he decides to "talk" this whole war and nonsence would make sense to everybody. And know the whole truth and not just what americas telling us.

me and my husband are in our early 20's, we've been married for almost 4 years, he's in the Air Force, i've never really known anything about the military til we got married and stationed, well i notice that many military wives get fat or dumpy looking after they get married? its like they don't care anymore? i see 25 year olds that look 40 already, many of them already have kids in there early 20's so they all hang out together, me and my husband don't want to have kids for a while because we just like to have fun and travel first, i like to hang out with my friends and shop, work out etc (who i've met off base) we moved off base because everybody seems so clicky, is it that much of a commonality? (i have been to other branches of military bases before so i know its not just air force) i'm not saying all air force wives, but many that i've seen

Remember the kid on here a few days ago speaking about France and the US. I recieved this personal message from him.
"By the way i'm not french jerk, im latin american, i've read many books of USA history (i don't use american because the spaniards called the whole continent like that, the US stole the name because they dont have one for themselfs). So, no one liberate me, indeed the only liberation would be against the yanky imperialism. my dear red neck indeed you war of independence never had a turning point before yorktown (indeed had an irregular curse). The US isn't worth enough to gain their independence for themselfs. The numbers are there, check the congress library if you want it.
hillbilly please read a little about the World War I you dont saved anyone just fill the place of the russians that quit, you only send a lame expeditionary force for a few months in 1918 (no one big battle just support for english and french). So lame so lame."

My fellow Americans, let him have it
