There is no way in gods green earth I want some little pansy that is scared of the boogyman under his bed let alone the insurgents firing AK-47s at me to "cover me while i move"! I dont wanna serve with these people that are just going to act miserable the WHOLE time we are there! I been to Iraq and im headed back, trust me we dont need or want you over there, just stay cozzy in your bed and keep the care packages coming please thats all we need!! Was John F. Kennedy justified in bringing the U.S. and the Soviet Union to the brink of nuclear war over the placement of nuclear weapons on Cuba?

If the United States has the right to own nuclear weapons, should not Cuba also have that right?

Not in the long run. In primate societies the game is to defeat the Alpha Male and rule. The USA is the alpha male nation to be defeated.
We WILL NEVER BUY PEACE BY RETREATING.
The US dealt successfully with Germany and the Soviet Union, let's hope we can defeat Islamic terrorism.

During boot camp, if a recruit gets tired out, like can't physically do any more push ups during physical training and just drops straight down, what happens? If a recruit starts to cry during training after being yelled at or humiliated, what happens?

Not that I am joining the Marines but I was watching a documentary last night and it was incredible. Just wondering what happened in those situations.

However, I have no prior military experience and I believe would have to go to basic training. What are the time requirements for guard members? Is basic during the weekends or is it the full 8 weeks?
8 weeks full-time would be tough to swing with my current job. Can anyone explain further?

My friend is contemplating joining the Marines.. so he wanted me to ask, say he goes to boot camp and decides it is too tough and he doesn't like it after the first day, what happens? can he just leave or no? Or he's on the plane and decides right when he gets there he doesn't like it? I know he has to research it but generally asking, what does one do in a situation when JUST arriving to boot camp they want to come home?

Hello, I am curently doing a project about the Millitary draft. I need to know do you think one is coming? Should the draft start up again? Should women be drafted also? I very much do belive in the fact that women should be drafted also but not put on the front lines with a gun. What do you think? If you find any good websites please post them! Rumsfeld gets fired, the Bush administration stops using "Stay the Course" as a slogan for the war, and then they go back to doing essentially the same thing. What would it take to end it? How wrong do they have to be for the country to simply stop this war or at least stop letting the same people do the same things?

Does anyone have any good songs I can use for videos and even songs to dedicate to troops on CD's? I'm doing a project and have chosen the troops for my research. Also, I will be sending a package out to a unit out in Kuwait via anysoldier.com with some good songs for respect and motivation for them. Anything along the lines of R. Normally to eradicate any killer decease we attack the worm that cause the decease. For example to eradicate malaria we first kill the mosquitoes and their breeding grounds. Islamic terrorism is a big decease much worst than aids. Every body agrees the fact that Pakistan is the breeding ground for all Islamic terrorists. US first should attack Pakistan with the help of Indian Army to destroy all terrorist outfits there. But US and UK leaving Pakistan untouched attacking Afghanistan, Iraq and thinking of attacking Iran now.Why?
