Yes. There was justification for dropping both of them.

Seth, get your facts strait, we bombed German cities, the fire bomb raids over Dresden killed 135,000 civilians. WWII was a knock down drag out fight to the finish. If you study the facts the Atomic bomb attacks saved millions of lives. The savings in men, material and money alone justified the A-bomb, not to mention the Japanese conduct during the war which was almost as bad as the Nazi's. Justice was served, twice in fact.

Yes. Dropping the bomb may have killed thousands of Japanese but it has been estimated that at least 1 million soldiers would have been lost had we engaged in a full scale war with Japan. The baby boom generation would more than likely never had been born and we might not be here.

Hell no. They dropped two nuclear bombs on civillian cities. How is that justified. There has never been an attack by the US on an enemies civillian populace except in WW II against the Japanese. Then right after that they sign a treaty saying they won't use them again. But still how do you justify killing inoccent civillians?

I dont think so but at least the other side gave up right if the war had gone on longer more people might of died

i really believe that everything is fair in love and war so i guess amerrica was justified. america was in war and in war u dont seee whether u r doing justice or not so i think america was right------
