My husband had a detached retina when he was younger and had surgery to reattach it. He tried to join the army but was disqualified becuase of this...does anyone know of any branches that would pass him

OK, I keep getting these really suspicious emails from a banana who says that he will recruit his fellow banana warriors and take over the earth using their advanced weapons. I am really starting to get scared..... now I am considering changing my email and moving!!!! What should I do? Should we get an army together and build advanced weapons ourselves??? People, this world will go into panic if they find out banana warriors are planning to cause human destruction and destroy all of mankind or make us their banana slaves!!! Our we all doomed?? What should we do? And I am totally serious!!!

I have been reading various articles on why POWS were left in Vietnam. Some reasons state that United States goverment was to pay 4.5 billion to help rebuild in exchange for pows, and the reniged.. Other sites said the goverment simply didnt care etc.

So why were the pows left?

I made some reaserach a bout terrorist and many website said that they were freedom figthers and other ones said that they figth to over trow the goverment. Tell me your opininon a bout terrorist and why they do attacks. Also would you mind telling me what is the difference between a mercenary and a terrorist.

If you've seen that movie did you or did you not agreed with what Maximus did when he opposed to obey the new Ceasar??? While you were watching that movie did you not root for Maximus?? If so it's the same concept as this soldier who has his own belief that this war is wrong and doesn't want to support Bush/Ceasar.

I have a relative that has joined the Marines but is being hazed every night due to a sleeping issue. He has a problem waking up AND he snores, therefore his "comrades" thought it would be funny to beat him every night while he is asleep. Yes, it's a real medical condition. Some say, "hazing makes a man out of you". I say it makes enemies and cowards of the other marines since he is no condition to fight back. Any thoughts?

Does anyone know if there is a marine corp order that states anything about if you stand duty at the barracks or OD duty if you have work the next day, you work for half a day ?

At my shop, if you had duty all night at the barracks or OD and the next day you had work,, they would secure you at 1200 for the rest of the day. Now we have a new GySgt and he told us that we arent going to get half days anymore.

I cant find any marine corp order stating that we are entitled to get off at 1200.

I have been nominated for the Aerospace & Technology Honors Camp (ATHC) for the 2007 session. I have a choice of three site, but i am unsure which to go to. They are: University of New Mexico/ Kirtland Air Force Base(AFB), Oklahoma University/ Tinker AFB, and Wright State University/ Wright-Patterson AFB. Which should i choose to attend, and why?

Why do the Americans think that they can bully and threaten countrys like Iran and N.Korea..Countrys who are far better equiped and whos soldiers and more dedicated than the Iraq army, they wont run away like the iraqis did.

Why do they think the N.Koreans and the Iranians would worry about their threats when they cant defeat a few thousand poorly equiped insurgents in Iraq ?

I am shipping on 20 Feb for bct. My mos is 68w. Yesterday I was contacted by a special investigator for a security clearance interview. Does anyone know why a medic would need a secret clearance. I am worried about this because I couldn't get the job I wanted in the first place because of a clearance(MP). I have a misd. charge and that disqualified me for that job. If I don't get the clearance what will happen to me? Has this happened to anyone else? I have never heard of someone having this interview before they shipped except for intel jobs and the like. Please advise.
