Contact their parents/family members. The Navy will NOT tell you where they are. How do I know? My step dad's brother hadn't been seen since 1958. His mom was dying. I called the retired Navy pay office and all they could tell me that he was indeed drawing navy retirement but would not say where he was (privacy laws). Fortunately this was before direct deposit, so they lady put my step-dad's address/phone number in his retired pay envelope. He called right after the first of the month. Grandma was dead by then. A foot note; my brother was in the army and got stationed near his uncle. By the time he got settled in and went to see his uncle, Clarence was dead.

Ask the personnel officer of the Navy because they have the complete listing of Navy personnel and those who were already separated from the service.
