I'm in a situation, Im a current Marine Corps DEP. I ship out July 9th 2007. I'm a senior in hight school the only problem is that im having some trouble in school and im on the brink of not graduating this summer. My recruiter said i could extend my ship out date to August since that's when i went down to MEPS and took the oath. I was just wondering what would happen if i didn't graduate this year and had to go into next a little bit to graduate what the penalties would be. I still want to go in the Corps and i just want to know if i could still get in and what the penalities would be. Thanks

Why do the australians have an army full of kid on soldiers, when it is well known and part of commonwealth diplomacy that britain (australias daddy) will protect them if they ever went to war.
The australian army is has one of the weakest navy, land force and airforces in the world.

Australians can sleep well at night knowing britain does not, britain protects australia as it is incapable of protectin itself.

Alright so my parents are education orienated (sp). They made me take advanced classes through high school that I would pull a C+ or B- in, I was always a year or sometimes even 2 years ahead of everybody class wise. Im not the smartest guy around though, and I cant even imagine another 4 years of school after high school.

Ive talked to my counselar at school (ex-Marine), an Army Recruiter, and a Marine Recruiter. I WANT to enlist in the Marines and get an associates degree in Criminal Justice (I already have 12 of the 60 credits I need) while Im enlisted, but have no idea how to break it to my parents.

Im in good shape and can easily do the IST at the recruiting office and have good ASVAB scores, I want to enlist as Machine Gunner. Im sure you know the kind of parents Im talking about; all pro-college and my mom is totally anti-me going to the Military but my dad always supported ROTC or the Academies. But I WANT to enlist and get an associates degree from there, REALISICALLY,

" A democracy cannot exist as a permanent form of government. It can only exist until the voters discover that they can vote themselves largess of the public treasury. From that time on the majority always votes for the candidates promising the most benefits from the public treasury, with the results that a democracy always collapses over loose fiscal policy, always followed by a dictatorship. The average age of the world's great civilizations has been 200 years. These nations have progressed through this sequence:from bondage to spiritual faith;from spiritual faith to great courage;from courage to liberty;from liberty to abundance;from abundance to selfishness;from selfishness to complacency;from complacency to apathy;from apathy to dependency;from dependency back again to bondage.

I want to become a Marine Officer (Infantry) while going through college. I know, now at least, that you have to go to Annapolis w/ the Navy guys. But if you go to Annapolis, trying to be a Marine, is there a way you'll get stuck in the Navy?

Also, same question w/ NROTC?

Well, I'm in the eleventh grade right now, and would like to know: do you think it's alright that in Canada boys and I believe girls too, are given the right to train at seventeen years of age in basic military training? I mean the high schools are showing kids how to be potential killers, and the government says this is for education and credits. But the truth is when these kids finish the summer training for which they are being paid for- then these are the same kids in which are entering places like: Afghanistan and Iraq at 18,19 years of age and older. So what I'm saying is- is this right for highschools in Canada to do this? I'd say it's just a way to win the war- and they do not give a **** about these kids- what do you think?

i have to admit that i do not want to join the navy because i want to serve the country. i actually dont want to be in a warzone. but i do want to join the navy because i want to conquer my fears, i want to be disciplined, to be pushed to my limits, to be in good physical shape, to be more assertive and outgoing, to help the civilians and the soldiers in any way i can without having to physically fight in a warzone.

i am a female, 5'5 175 lbs, 23 years old and have bachelor's degree in psychology and would like to have a career in healthcare such as nursing. am i fit for the navy? how about airforce? please be honest with your answers but also respond kindly. thank you in advance!

it took a butcher to maintain peace.......then bush had him snuffed.

we should get the f@#k outta there and let the iraqis decide if they want peace.......or if they prefer, spend the next 200 years butchering each other.

getting more of our troops killed will achieve nothing
