We expect the Persians to be greater cowards than the Arabs we fought next door in Iraq. As I recall, Iran could not defeat Iraq in a war a few years ago. But remember how quickly American tanks rolled into Baghdad? Remember the thousands and thousands of Iraqis surrendering to the Americans during Desert Storm? You will experience shock and awe, death and destruction, if you provoke America.

But only if you provoke us. America is a country of peace. We only attacked Iraq because we know they hated the US and had weapons of mass destruction. So it is very, very foolish for Iran to boast of hatred of the US and of having nuclear weapons.

Do not provoke us. Even though there are many here who may seem weak and afraid of you (we call them Democrats), even they will fight like tigers if you provoke us. We may elect a woman as president in two years. Are the Iranians prepared to suffer the humilitation of defeat at the hands of a woman commander-in-chief?

Now, I just want to start off saying that I am not pro-invasion. With that out of the way, I would have to say that Iran would get its *** severely kicked within a matter of days. F-4 Phantoms vs F-22's? And how do you propose to stop the rain of laser guided bombs and cruise missiles? Kamans and Saams won't last long against an Arliegh Burke, and the few working Kilos that are left are far from a match for any US ASW weapons. So, inside of a week, Iran would be an occupied country, much like Iraq, and then the US military would have 2 places to deal with insurgents and terror cells vice 1.

Please remeber back in the first Gulf War how the liberals where saying our military couldn't stand up to the Republican guard.

How they were expecting all these deaths.

I don't think there is much chance that the US is going to invade Iran and by the way do you not remember Baghdad Bob's threats and promises? Iran is a bigger threat to her neighbors then us and I imagine that the US has seen that you cannot save fanatics from other fanactics. So why try?

I am from Iran myself and even though I am christian I hope Usa does not go into it. I have family there, and the only way Usa can go into Iran right now is through a killer bomb.
