im trying to find some wives to chat and make friends with(Ive tried the yahoo rooms not so great lol) we are in ky hes leaving very soon so im trying to talk to others going through the same thing

Hi there! My husband is in the Canadian Military and luckily he doesn't have to go to Afghanistan...this time. There are 1300 soldiers leaving from Gagetown, NB in the next 3wks, many of them are friends of mine and my husbands. I know what it's like to have your spouse away, mine has been away since the beginning of Sept and he'll be back next week, luckily it was just a course that he was on, but it's still difficult. Im not exactly a wife of a soldier, but i am a girlfriend of one. I have been withi him for 3 years and he leaves in april. He is leaving for bootcamp though, not going to iraq. I can relate to some of your emotions though, just email me if you would like to talk!

if you have myspace look for his units wives clubs on their. my husband is currently deployed due home at the end of the spring. and his ship has several wives clubs good luck it will be tough at first im here for support if you need me
