Todays's toll was the third-highest of any single day since the war began in March 2003, eclipsed only by 37 U.S. deaths on Jan. 26, 2005, and 28 on the third day of the U.S. invasion. U.S. authorities also announced two additional American combat deaths from Friday.

And when will the American people hold him responsible for such deceptions as our commander in chief?

He is lying and people are dying.

With insurgency warfare like the kind Iraqis have figured out and used against us, we are ******, we need to leave and try a political solution to the insurgency...

Otherwise we have to kill all Iraqis. That is the choice and no American leadership has the gump to try the latter option.

DO you want Vietnam Pt. 2 or do you want to recognize that the enemy is our foolish, misguided, lying, frat-boy cheerleader from Yale, rich kid who in a spoiled and self centered way (because he is out of touch with reality entirely) ****** over our military and the country?

Get em out... Halliburton, Cheney, Baker III, Wolfowitz, Perle, CONDIE! HILLARY!!! all of these liars.

Save your kid, save your neighbor.

its over people. deal with it.

China is expected to be the world's largest economy by 2035.

By that time China will be a democracy but the US will still be a country of morons who vote for the likes of George Bush.

This is what he said he would do in the 2000 debates with Gore.
"If we don't have a clear vision of the military, if we don't stop extending our troops all around the world and nation building missions, then we're going to have a serious problem coming down the road, and I'm going to prevent that. I'm going to rebuild our military power. It's one of the major priorities of my administration. "

20 U.S. service members killed in Iraq By ROUE, Press

BAGHDAD, Iraq - At least 20 American service personnel were killed in military operations Saturday in one of the deadliest days for U.S. forces since the Iraq war began, and authorities also announced two U.S. combat deaths from the previous day.

The day's worst loss came from the crash of a U.S. Army helicopter northeast of Baghdad that killed 13 service members. Another attack Saturday night blamed on militiamen in the city of Karbala killed five soldiers. Roadside bombs killed another soldier in the capital and one in Nineveh province north of Baghdad.

The military gave alot of information on the crash of the Black Hawk during good weather in Diyala province, where U.S. and Iraqi forces have been battling Sunni insurgents and Shiite militias around the city of Baqouba for months. The Military stated the aircraft was shot down.

OK, America has a problem. We send out good responsible family members over to Iraq to fight for WHAT?

We have perfectly good gang members who already know how to "pop a cap" and who don't care if they die killing other people.

If that's what we need is to get rid of the enemy...why aren't we sending over the people that are BEST qualified?

I saw that more than 20 more soldiers died today. Will any of them TRULY be remembered? By family, yes...by the government they served...they were only numbers. God Bless them all.

The war in Iraq has raised patriotism for some people. The War in Iraq has lowered patriotism for others. The war in Iraq didn’t even effect patriotism for some people.

So, pathetic and afraid? If the war in Iraq were a regular war, we'd be finished, but it isn't. We are basically playing hide and seek with the insurgents. Nearly all casualties in Iraq (allied) are caused by IED's (Improvised Explosive Devices). Suicide bombers, road side bombs etc. Don't you think thats, well, sad? For the insurgents, it basically shows us how tough, they truely are. (sarcasm)

What do you think?
