Sad to say we lost 3000 soliders in iraq. this is the lowest casulty rate of any confilct the US has fought. But people are out there complainingabout the death rate of soliders fighting a war for our freedom ans safety. and if you don't belive that rember 911, or have you forgotton about that already?

if our military wasn't over there for the past 3 years+, the terrorist would be in atlanta, or where ever you live. i'm glad we took the fight to them and it's not the other way around

Finially, common sense. My hats off to you, and to those that disagree, the back of my pants off to you.
Even if you disagree on the cause, be AMERICAN and support the troops.
Jennyann- Guess you didn't know that Soldiers get paid more per dependent. That means that unlike everyother civie job, they actually get more cash for more kids. Also, free medical. And I can show you 1000 to 1 more people on food stamp out of the military. Ever think that some spend more than they make? I am a former soldier, and I personially have seen guys spend every dime on clubs and send nothing back to their families. So think and research before saying things you have no first hand knowledge over.

It's the fact that Iraq is fighting a civil war and Bush has placed our troops in the middle of it. Yeah, they weren't when they first went over there but they are now. There is nothing our men and women can do over there until the Iraqis stop fighting each other. How is that fighting for freedom and why do you want our troops to suffer?

It's a good thing that the limousine liberals back in the days of WWII didn't have access to today's high speed communications because the death toll from every battle would have caused them to demand that we immediately withdraw our troops.
The battle for Okinawa cost 38,000 American lives.
The battle for Iwo Jima cost 18,000 American lives.
Every day when I open my sbc Yahoo! email, the top headline is almost ALWAYS about the death count for that day, or that week. The press is so liberal it makes me sick (thank God for Bill O'Reilly; I just wish I could see his program here in the Czech Republic)

there is something called rest in peace and we already did what we went to accomplish. Iraq will never be like America so bush needs to worry about fixing his country before a country we just destroyed

Hey Albert, they are not fighting for our freedom ans safety. Unless "our" is a nickname for the employees of Bechtel and Haliburton. Oh, one more thing Albert, Iraq had nothing to do with 9/11.

I haven't forgotten 9/11, and I support efforts to go after the people who attacked us. That wasn't Iraq. Our quick action in Afghanistan was the right thing to do; unfortunately, Bush was so hot to get "the guy who tried to kill my dad" that he pulled out forces to fight his little war of revenge.

The last I looked, there weren't any Sunnis or Shiites fighting on MY block.
Dude, this is a CIVIL war in a FOREIGN country--what we REALLY need to remember is VIET NAM.
And as far as September 11th, 2001, if we really were going to exact revenge, Bin Laden wouldve been drawn and quartered by now.

Yeah, many people also tend to forget that it's always better to fight a war in someone else's backyard......not our own. As for me, I will NEVER forget 911. I still take that attack very personal.

Yep liberals forgot all about 9/11.
Their primary concern is to bash Bush.
They can't see that Muslim terrorism as not just bin laden.
