There were plenty of libs all over the place in 44. But at that time the world was a different place. If you can believe it, men would stand in respect whenever a woman would enter a room. All people in general were far more conservative concerning just about everything. So its really hard to compare that day to this.
The most significant event that changed everything over the years was when the Supreme Court of the USA outlawed prayer in the public school in 1963. Just put voluntary VOCAL prayer back in public schools and I guarantee you in less than a decade you will see a dramatic decrease in every kind of crime and disease. And the West will once again become an extremely nice place to live.

It's a free country...
If you want to call yourself "Nazi Lover," that's okay.
But at least get your facts straight.
Human shields? Normandy?
Which beach are you talking about?
What did you have in mind, hang them from the West Wall?

You may find it hard to believe, but there where people then who thought that we had no part in the war in Europe even though they where killing millions of Jews. It took Japan attacking us to finally push past the liberals then. History Does repeat itself it seems.
I wonder if it will take Iran or North Korea attacking us in a suprise attack for these people to figure it out again.

the funny thing is that liberals WERE in charge in america during WWII, and it was REPUBLICANS who were opposed to the war.
also, prescott bush, our president's grandfather did business with the nazis until the LIBERAL american govt forced him to stop.
so we see that the real facts don't much fit your talking points, but then they never do...

I would fight the nazis. I am a peace loving liberal who would create peace by defeating them. FDR fought them as liberal as he was.

it's about right and wrong
not right and left
every issue has to be looked at
most democrats are for the evils of abortion and the homo-sexual agenda
and the Republicans are war mongers
don't bother voting or vote for an Independant... not to many options here!!!

Its a good thing that it is not 1944. the libirals would have to be black first to be used as a human sheilds as only black people were used for that purpose. By the way, we killed of all the nazis, the only nazis that are alive today are wannabes.
