It is extremely possible. I've heard that they have missing nukes from Russia. Terrorists could also attack with a dirty nuclear bomb, which won't destroy much.....but cover a whole area with contamination that we won't be able to access for the rest of our lifetime. I'm more worried about biological warfare....stuff like anthrax.
