And when will the American people hold him responsible for such deceptions as our commander in chief?
He is lying and people are dying.
With insurgency warfare like the kind Iraqis have figured out and used against us, we are ******, we need to leave and try a political solution to the insurgency...
Otherwise we have to kill all Iraqis. That is the choice and no American leadership has the gump to try the latter option.
DO you want Vietnam Pt. 2 or do you want to recognize that the enemy is our foolish, misguided, lying, frat-boy cheerleader from Yale, rich kid who in a spoiled and self centered way (because he is out of touch with reality entirely) ****** over our military and the country?
Get em out... Halliburton, Cheney, Baker III, Wolfowitz, Perle, CONDIE! HILLARY!!! all of these liars.
Save your kid, save your neighbor.
its over people. deal with it.

Hillary is a Democrat... they suck equally as bad and are worse on some levels than Bush.
As far as "patriots" calling me out about the troops and being one **** you. I know many troops (Iraq vets) like my family members who would tell you where it is at and how unwinnable and a waste it is then stomp your geek-***, go die.

roy_glen2... - thats the problem with you guys... you are trained to just do, not talk about it.
Fine, its your duty... but ya know, we need to end this ****, maybe you should start telling the truth more, especially to those serving or going to serve in this nonsense.

"Nixon paid attention to "popular" opinion and pulled our troops out."
um, sorry... you are dead wrong about that. Nixon did no such thing.

“If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
– Joseph Goebbels, Nazi minister of propaganda
Now let's see how many of those points the Bush administration has pulled off with respect to their bullsh*t war in Iraq (btw for the simple-minded morons out there, I'm not referring to the war we should be fighting against al Qaeda or the Taliban). But I digress...
1. "Tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it." Fox News, check.
2. "...shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie." Keep blaming Clinton for everything, don't raise taxes or ask for any kind of sacrifice whatsoever, and do not institute a draft to fight "the great ideological battle of the 21st century." Check, got all three.
3. "It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent..." Anyone who disagrees with Bush emboldens the terrorists, so check there too.
And you all think Bush isn't the enemy within?

What has he lied about?
And what do you consider a political solution?
It's so easy to spout all this rhetoric.
"Bush lied & people died." It's the dumbest rhyme since "If the glove don't fit, you have to acquit." Gee, every president in every war has said something perceived as untrue and as causing the deaths of American soldiers. And the stuff about Bush being a cheerleader and rich and spoiled is not only half truth, but so beat to death it is BORING.
I think the soldiers returning are far more in touch with reality than someone who hasn't been there, and the ones I have talked to are totally behind our president and this war.
Oh and as for Vietnam Part 2 - my husband and brother were there. The war was actually being won, but Nixon paid attention to "popular" opinion and pulled our troops out.
I hope that Bush and whoever suceeeds him, Democrat or Republican will not listen to the so-called "popular" opinions, and will see this through to the best possible result for the people of Iraq and the people of the USA.

Republicans, George Bush and cronies are being paid off by large oil companies which badly want to pump Iranian oil and in order to do so they need o be in Iran. Accordingly Bush and Republicans are looking for reasons to invade Iran and since there is no valid reasons they feed American people different bull.

I'll leave that question to others, since I spent almost a life time in the Army, my comments would do no good but you seem like an angry young person. Hope you get well soon.

Gosh, who do I believe...
You, on Yahoo, or every troop that has returned from Iraq that I've talked to.
Let's see... people who've been there... or you. Soldiers, or you. Hmmm....
At least the 'Nam protesters had cool songs... this crop of war protesters doesn't even have cool songs. And, for that matter, they can't get their fact straight either. Pity....
