Yeah. I am sick of hearing all the negative stuff going on in Iraq right now. The media always makes the bad outweigh the good.

Yeah, I knew before you told me and without any count.

Our military is not the blood thirsty mass murders many on the liberal side of the isle believe them to be. And they are not the incompetents that those same people would have you believe. Unfortunately most of the people aspiring to political office only saw the very end of the lottery system and the all volunteer force. Those who ever wore the uniform are becoming things of the past. If you spend a lot of time studying the military you may be able to gain some insight at an intellectual level. That is a good thing but until you gain some gut insight you can never really understand us or what we do. I believe very strongly that the only way to get that gut insight is by doing it. You must wear the uniform, be shot at, send your people into a situation where they may not come back and worry about it until they do. They are hard lessons but those who haven't learned them just don't get "it".

Retired US Air Force Master Sergeant.

We are trained to kill but in my 22 years of active service I only met one man who actually liked it. He didn't last long, that man was one sick puppy.

Sorry, I got a little wordy but I can't cut any, suffice to say I could say a lot more. And thanks a million for recognizing the facts.

Yup, this world is full of idiots. Some people just like to feel bad and complain it seems. It's discraceful to say our troops served and died for no just cause. I'd like them to come home too but I'm not wine and pitch a political fit with a myopic glace of the picture.

You make a wonderful point. I have a friend in Iraq and he tyells me so mush that of course we do not hear on the news. People have no idea how much good is coming out of what our soilders are doing over there to help the people. People just focus on the number of soilder deaths, what is it now 4,000, yes it is terrible that we are losing men and women, but with every war come casualties and I wish none of our soilders had to lose their lives, but what about other wars. i bet people don't know that we lost over 53,000 men in world war 1 and over 291,000 men and women in world war 2.

And what about the civil war? over 191,000 soilders lost in battle.

It takes a strong person to join the military and take on the responsibility of protecting our way of life. I pray for every single man and women in uniform each and every day. I am grateful for what they do and support them in every way i can.

What a surprise, someone here has his head on strait. Kudos to you. I agree with everything you say, i even gave you a star. lol.

Why doesn't someone in the Administration come public with these facts?

One more point: Our troops have yet to lose a battle in Iraq. We win regardless, it's up to the Iraqi's to win their war.

i think of a number of them merely have self assurance that we on no account could desire to have long previous into Iraq, that if we had greater powerful the help of the initiating, to assist the invasion, they could experience greater gentle with the assumption. a number of them could have lost acquaintances or family members in Iraq and that they are indignant because of the fact they experience those human beings could desire to nonetheless be alive on the instant. i understand many a liberal who supported the Afghanistan attack, yet who do no longer help the Iraq one. i've got on no account heard everyone, liberal or no longer, asserting "The terrorists are merely too sturdy for us and our troops". yet consistent with danger on your offline existence, you have. I carry no longer something against the troops for doing what they have been instant to do. i'm hoping that once the time comes for them to finally come living house, they are going to gain this with as little harm (actual or psychological harm) as obtainable. I want them achievement of their project. To each and all of the veterans obtainable, thank you for combating for our u . s . a ..

And out of all the news programs there are in this country, I only know of two that tell this truth.... O'Reilly and Glenn Beck... Kind of sad isn't it? Most people just ignore all the good that we're doing.
