Why is it that people think that people that are serving as enlisted members of the military dont have an education?
I'm sorry but that is just one of the things that really burns me. Before I could enlist I had to prove I graduated atleast high school, and if you had your GED you had to have atleast 3 hours of college before you could join, and that was the Navy's standards, and they continue to get more and more strict.
But why do alot of people seem to think that because I and alot of my friends are enlisted in many different services are stupid and that we don't have an education or we couldn't hack it in college?
Do you realize that we can and do take college courses while doing a full time job?
Or is it just a jealousy issue?
Remember: it takes a college degree to break it, and a high school diploma to fix it. (obviously this pertains to officers, no offense to any O's that are out there reading this.)
