If you like standing in one spot and being eaten alive by thousands of mosquitoes for literally hours, you have come to the right place.
and by the way, this goes without saying, the stuff in the videos is the fun stuff. go to parris island and learn that 99% of the non-fun stuff will never make it to the videos. anyone that says it is easy is a wuss and a liar. there will always be morons that when they complete something they will say wow what a piece of cake. i don't recall anyone in my platoon (of the ones that made it) ever saying it was easy. in the mind of the would-be marine, it is training, with the idea of protecting our country. not a game

rofl, you gotta be kidding me. It's not basic training, it's called boot camp and Marine Corps boot camp is the longest one out of the military branches. You're comparing a 2 hour video to 3 months of military training. It is an awesome branch to join, but by no means, a summer vacation to Disneyland. By all means, if you want to join, please do so, but if and when you make it, let me know if you still think it's Disneyland.

The US Marine Corps does not have basic training, they
have BOOT CAMP and if you think it is easy and if you are young enough, why don't you join the US Marines and find out for yourself. Be glad to have you join up.

You must not be in the military... and jealous. Marines have the hardest bootcamp, in fact a Marine can join any other branch without having to go through their bootcamp but any other branch wanting to join the Marines has to go through USMC bootcamp. They don't call 'em the "few good men" for no reason.

the Marine Corps is the hardest thing I ever did. In the three months of Parris Island, I matured more as an individual than I had in the previous 18 years.

Yep, it is easy. That is why in my platoon only 59 out of 84 graduated. Have a good day.
