First, we should invade Iran, but we won't. The reason we invaded Iraq was to try to scare Iran and other countries with real WMD programs into giving up without a fight. It was a stupid policy that has gotten us nowhere and only scared one country, Libya, into giving up their WMD programs.

Second, your ignorant question implies that we have to choose between a draft or a ten division Army. During the Reagan administration we had over twenty active duty divisions without a draft. With that size of a force we could invade Iran with plenty to spare.

Third, personally I think a draft or an invasion would be great. Both at the same time-- outstanding. As a professional soldier, a draft would probably mean opportunities for me to get promoted faster, and invading Iran would mean enhanced job security. I love my job.

Bush is not going to invade Iran. He may have the power to declare war, but it is the Congress that holds the purse strings. Now that the Dems are in control that won't happen. Have you been watching the news lately? The draft isn't anywhere near being re-instated.

Hey, it's not the Republicans who want to reinstate the draft, it's the Democrats. Rep. Charles Rangle of NY is introducing the bill, for the second time. In fact, the Dems first instituted the draft, and Republicans who ended it. Much like the Democrats got us into Vietnam, and Republicans got us out. Is service a good thing....Yes, yes it is. But if you're on the battlefield, wouldn't you feel better knowing that the guy next to you is there because he believes in the cause, and not because he was forced to be? I'm only stating facts here. FACTS! Anyone can look it up. And to those who say I'm wrong, you are being closed minded and reluctant to see. And if the day comes that we invade Iran, if called upon I will go and fight along side of my countrymen.

Now all you libs can start with the 'Thums Down' crap...You know you want to regulate my freedom of speech...go ahead.

It substitute into in basic terms the 1st step interior the U. S. conflict for international domination. Iraq has fallen, Iran would be next, Syria is likewise on the plate nonetheless. in basic terms wait some greater years and we are going to see the finished center east, that's an exceptionally important region in terms of technique and geography, enslaved with the aid of the u . s . a .. And related to human rights, i'm afraid the greater international places they invade, the greater unlawful torture camps like Guantanamo we are going to see. or perhaps we will not see those, yet they are going to be there. the only difference would be that they are going to be lots greater careful related to pictures or any information getting out of those camps. Secrecy often is the suitable precedence and greater newshounds will end in the back of bars or pushing up the daisies. right here interior the west, they governments obedient to the U. S. limit our rights with the aid of the minute. I hate the belief, yet I reckon that for the period of a few a protracted time, the u . s . a . often is the only and in basic terms international ability, with their armed forces in each single place in each united states. A police state greater advantageous than any former dictator would have dreamed of and with all our retinas scanned and our DNA taken, resistance would be very very nearly impossible. and you guess that then, none of their infantrymen is going to detention center anymore in basic terms for torturing or raping somebody. Their armed forces is the main important on the international today and it grows each year to guard the police state. And with the U. S. government and armed forces imposing their fourth Reich and rounding up all combatants, leftists and previous human rights supporters to limit them into ghettos and cause them to dissappear with the aid of the 1000's, i don't somewhat see a raffle for freedom and liberty in destiny. i could like the see the faces of all people who're so happy with the U. S. troops then, while they convey abode the conflict and prepare the individuals and all others their real face. you think of for a 2d they could refuse to shoot civilians if the have been ordered to?? think of returned. the yank fourth Reich is close to and this is terrifying to think of roughly this.

First of all, reinstating the draft is the idea of the Democrats.

And by that time the Mexican border will be closed just like the
Canadian border.
