I could explain why I want to switch but to be more to the point I just want to know if I have the option. I know the Army has the Blue to Green program, where Sailors can go to a 4 week camp and become Soldiers. Does the Marine Corp have anything similar?

I am an anthropologist, and a U.S. soldier (National Guards). The show would be about myself and another travelong across the world, and visiting and experiencing many things. I am also going to do crazy stuff such as skydiving, ect, ect. We will travel to archeological sites, so it will be educational, but like I said, there's going to be much more involved. I am going to do a little bit of research in each visited country and ask a few questions, and compare them to see how the different people of the world would respond. I plan on later publishing the results, but believe me, it will be a fun show. The thing is, I am in the National Guards, so here comes the main question that I need to know.

If I (Still) come back to America, to serve my one weekend a month and 2 weeks a year, and also go to serve my country if and when I am called up, will I be allowed to be out of the country doing this? I mean would the army tolerate it?

I hope so, this is a really great opportunity.

Please I am really wondering about their motivation. Please no because we rule or they are jealious or name calling or racism.

They must be pretty motivated to be willing to die. So I want to know why? Or is this a question nobody knows.

I have seen the website http://anysoldier.com which i think is a nice idea (sending a care package to a soldier out in iraq) but would prefer to send something to British troops rather than American (although i will more than likely send something to an american soldier too)...does anyone know of an english version?

a deployment? My husband is deployed and has been gone for several months. I am really lonely without him and I needed another man to fill that void. I feel guilty but I keep seeing my friend to fill my emotional and physical void. Is my husband's deployment a valid excuse to cheat? I don't cheat on him when he is here... No one knew about the cold war when it was an hour away from happening.A Russian submariner freind of Hearts owner Vladimir Romanov recently admitted he had his finger on the button to send a nuke into scotlands capital from the moray of firth during the 11th hour.There are numerous nukes a.w.o.l since the collapse of the soviet union and some have even been smuggled and planted in countries that were a threat.But even the Russians dont know where they are as all documentation was destroyed after the collapse.!!!!!!!!!!!!!! SCARY STUFF.!
