As I recall that is a tank mounted weapon. They contained
explosives and blew up on impact with an object.

in the commencing up i presumed this grew to become right into a typo, concept you meant 38 cal. Holy crap those are great bullets, of direction the guy on the incorrect end of which would be purple mist! in basic terms shifting them could desire to be risky. they could be anti-airplane or anti-armor rounds, plenty extra in all probability anti-airplane. With the flaws the way they're immediately you're able to desire to get your a$$ in a sling, surprisingly in case you ensue you be darker complected. My advice call the FBI from a pay telephone and tell them the place/what they're they're going to have a ordinance disposal group which could do away with them. be careful!

The military has a 38mm flare gun. Their projectiles burn really, really hot.

There was a series of 37mm cannons used for anti-armor (M2 Stuart main armament, etc.) The Soviet bloc used 37mm cannons for anti-aircraft. Mostly superceded by 40mm guns now.
