a deployment? My husband is deployed and has been gone for several months. I am really lonely without him and I needed another man to fill that void. I feel guilty but I keep seeing my friend to fill my emotional and physical void. Is my husband's deployment a valid excuse to cheat? I don't cheat on him when he is here... I really hate him being in the Army and away from me...

Wow, see a councilor or you pastor. If anything happened to your husband you would never forgive yourself. You owe it to your marriage and each other to stay faithful. Stay away from bars and build a network of female friends. Scrapbook, learn a new craft or find a job to keep you connected with other people. Break off the affair immediately and keep your self respect.

Wow, how many times can one person be called a w.hore!!

Look there is never an excuse for cheating, but your question to me suggests that you love him but his job is obviously a problem. These people are being way too harsh, i'm sure a man in the military has never cheated on his partner has he, they're all little Angels.

But what you're doing is wrong, lonely or not. You accepted his job when you married him, if you have a problem with it now then you need to tell him and make a decision between you. He should respect your feelings as well. If you respect his job then you will buy a vibrator and keep your legs closed. If you really can't handle it and he won't leave the army then you need to let him go and find someone who respects what he does and their marriage vows.

Listen to me. Either your man is deployed on operations in the middle east or presently serving else where. This is beside the point. When you put your head on the pillow at night can you sleep with a guilt free mind? I dont know you but my judgement is quite clear. It would break your man in two to discover you are with other men, while he is most likely working 7 days a week for 4 - 6 months. These days include hours of working up to 18hrs. I know this because i have been there. When you are there the only thing you think off is your job and your loved ones. It doesn't matter how old ADF personnel are there all thinking the same thing. To get home safe and begin an easier life with the money earnt there to start something new and exciting with you. Weather it be kids or buying a house. Unfortuanatly you will be unable to live with this guilt forever and being an army wife, it will get back to him. " NO MATTER WHAT YOU THINK" army boys on the piss will tell you every seceret they know. If i was you id tell him first.

P.S - Saten would kick you out of hell.

Wow, that is some amazing.... I don't know, gall, to say those things.

Your husband is deployed in a war zone. He's not cheating on you, he's putting his life on the line for you. There is no valid reason to cheat. You don't need another man to fill the emotional and physcial void, your problem is that you crave attention. You cannot stand, not recieving constant attention from someone.

I would suggest you go see a counselor to help you work on those issues. I would also suggest that you learn to guard your heart.

Sit down with a copy of Johnny Cash's "I walk the line" and start thinking about what you can do to walk the line.

I'll pray for your husband. I'm in the military myself and too many times I see this exact thing happen to my brothers and sisters in arms. Buck up, be an adult and learn to fill the void without cheating on him or let him go.

There is never a valid excuse to cheat. It is hard on both of you with your spouse being gone. Sometimes it is harder on the home front. When you got married you made a commitment. You sound like maybe you weren't ready to be married or maybe you are too young? Have some respect for yourself and him.

Are you STUPID? There is never an excuse for cheating. Especially when your husband is out there defending our freedom! If you can't handle being alone then you never should have married a military man. You don't love your husband if you can't wait a few months for him. You are a disgrace to the military wife and all that she stands for.

Its never right to cheat, but with the movie Jarhead coming out and hearing stories about how the military folks are screwing each other anyway, it seems as if the behavior is excused because they are at war. That is a judgement that you will have to take up with God. Let's not ignore that there is a military code our servicemen follow when they are away, just like don't ask don't tell. Marriage is never the answer when you marry into the military. Seek some couseling.

my b/f is deployed right now, i havnt seen him in 3months and prolly wont for another 3-9 more months. i seriously would rather die then hurt the man i love. who cares if ur fcking horny go buy a vibrator and if ur "lonely" read a flippin book or take a nap. i hope ur husband finds someone who actually care's about his feelings. if u loved him how could u let some other man touch u and kiss u?! i would feel disgusting if another man fcked me. What if he was cheating on u? you would prolly be posting something saying how horrible army men are and crying like a baby, i really hope he finds a honest loving wife after he divorces u

That is such a horrible thing to do! When you got married you took a vow. How can you be so selfish? You're not the only one with a husband over there. This is not a valid excuse to cheat! My boyfriend is in the Army and I would never cheat on him. How would you like it if you were gone and your husband was back at home cheating on you?

why are you cheating on him, he could be shot any day now and you are off doin another guy! you should be ashamed. When my dad was in the service for 3 years, my mom never cheated on him. The only valid reson to cheat if he is cheating too. You should've put his service into factor, when you got married

I recomment you stop cheating at once, I feel sorry for him: over there risking his life you America, and you're cheating on him
