Talk with the Army and not the Marines, the Army may be able to get a liaison to shorten your probation time or have it switched over to CID. It might depend on the judge and what you were convicted of and if it was an A,B or C misdemeanor

I don't think so. Army itself is government body. You had no choice but to serve your probation first. Futher more will the Army recruit you due to your black record. If you been recruited just be careful cause all people will pin point at you if there any case of incident. Good Luck

you haved to do what your probation officer tells you exactly what to do, and your recruiter should be able to get you in, you can still be on probation and still go into the army, number 1 you should of not gotton yourself into trouble, and number 2, they are all wanting people who are younger then you anyways to join the army, Well Good luck

You can request a change in probation status.
Go to your local court house talk to county clerk. they have the
forms. But have a lawyer take care of it.
The rest is up to the Army, the recruiter and you.

nope i just got in with marine corps a few months ago and their going to ask you a whole **** load of questions about your past involvement with the police and if he knows your on probation they have to wait for you to get off before you can sign anything and then you still have to get some waivers and such.
