I have seen the website http://anysoldier.com which i think is a nice idea (sending a care package to a soldier out in iraq) but would prefer to send something to British troops rather than American (although i will more than likely send something to an american soldier too)...does anyone know of an english version?

I have not seen one, but the British Army does have a soldier support web site. I linked it below for you. Thanks for your support.

he he sorry, when I saw "English version" I thought that you meant "in Englinsh" I forgot that some one else other than us Yanks spoke the language (tho you guys have a bit of an accent) I looked for links for British care packages, but couldn't find any... There must be some... perhaps you could start with the Red Cross of something.... any way.. good luck to you

Well, I'm a yank so I don't know exactly what is available to British soldiers, but I imagine there has to be organizations for British soldiers in the UK.
Maybe the vets office? Or some religious or nationalist organization? There are more than one way to give to the sols here in the States, so I can only imagine their are more than one for Brits also.
