i was out on saturday night at a nightclub in town and got into a fight with my boyfriends ex girlfriend. It was just outside the club and before i knew it police were involved and split us up. I was then handcuffed behind my back very tight by a female officer and put me in the police car.

on the way to the station i asked if she would loosen my cuffs a bit because they were digging into my wrist, so the officer in the back seat with me checked the cuffs and loosened them a bit, but they were still way too tight!

it wasnt until i got to the station the cuffs were taken off and i looked at my wrists which were red marked nd really sore, so the nurse checked them for any bone breaks etc, but luckily i was ok!

i showed my wrists to the officer who arrested me and she said.. she had them tight because my hand was thin and she didnt want me slipping out of them!

anyway, i didnt think i should have been handcuffed at all!

what do u think of this?!!

xx

surrounding a criminal with thousands of criminals doesn't rehabilitate. it allows them to build criminal connections, to harden their souls, and reenter civilization worse than before. not only that but it cost billions in tax dollars.
and the whole "public safety" thing isn't working. i've never went anywhere and felt completely safe. i think that one single punishment isn't going to fit millions of different ppl. why don't they do a better job of customizing punishments? i know that would take time, but it may save us a few tax dollars and really help ppl.

Because if the husband gets arrested, then gets out of jail, who is to prevent him from coming home? After all, it is his address too. I'm just not sure how that all works.

Thanks for any help.

How is it that someone who missed 2 court dates is not in jail? He missed his court date for driving without a license and one for a theft sentencing. Over the weekend he was in custody of the police for questioning of a different matter but never arrested for the 2 warrants that he should have on him! Now my sister is on her way to prison bc of things that he put her up too, now she's paying for it! How can he get away with so much? He just got out of prison about a year and a half ago for theft. This is in the state of Ohio.

Hi I am currently in the hiring process for the WSP and I have tattoos on my arms, which have not been shown because I have been in full dress button down shirts whenever I meet with the troopers for the different testing phases.

I would like to complete a full sleeve (from top of shoulder to wrist) of tattoos sometime, but I also do not want it to bar me form employment. Does anyone know the policy of the WSP officers having tattoos?

The fact that the trials for the new uniform start in JANUARY!!, should give you some idea of what I,m getting at!

I'm applying for a correctional officer position and in the background investigation phase of the process. The background investigator contacted me for the background interview over the phone and it was revealed to me I had been arrested on two occasions in 1995 for misdemeanor obstruction charges that were dropped and case dismissed. I honestly don't have any recolection of this incident so I answered "no" when asked if I've ever been arrested. I got in touch with the local police department that arrested me and they won't provide me with the copy of the arrest report but would cooperate with the background investigator, I let my background investigator know. I called the background investigator today to get a status update on my application and I was told he was still working on it and someone from recruiting would get in touch with me within a week to let me know if I've advanced to the next stage in the process. Do I still have a chance or is it over for me?

I was at a bar last weekend and there was a fight and the cops were called. Two Russian guys who were in the fight were arrested outside the bar. While they were being searched and questioned they are talking to each other and the other bar patrons in Russian despite knowing English. The cops were screaming at them to stop talking in Russian to each other.

Is there anything against this? Why couldn't they talk to each other in Russian?

I just moved here to texas from California, and it's very frustrating to me that everytime anyone here has even the slightest fender bender, they leave their car parked in the middle of the road, blocking up traffic, and creating a safety hazard for many more people.

Is it Texas law that you have to leave your vehicle in the middle of the road if you have an accident? I would think it more prudent to get it off the road into a parking lot where you can exchange information, and not have to worry about getting hit again....
