In a no-fault society which blames all problems on everything except the root cause...

How often do you see a car chase, only with to end with someone stepping out or thrown to the ground in a 3-piece suit?

Or that video from the convience store of someone lunging across to attack or shoot the clerk?

My feeling is if you screw up, its most likely you did something...WRONG, even if your black, white, yellow, or poka-dotted.

I can't play that race card when I get pulled over doing 100MPH, and tell the police..."Man, you pulling me over cause I'm WHITE?!"

Your thoughts?

I know you'll want to lock up the doctors who perform the procedures, so they'll move underground and into back alleys. Just like illegal drugs, you'll want to go after the user as well as the dealer, so when we catch a woman having or had an abortion, how long should they go to jail and for what crime?

I am stalked by a weird group of private persons. they often come into my medical offices and POSE AS DRs, nurses, technicians , pharmacists and other medical personnel although they are not. I called the cops in MATTESON IL when it occured recently . The officer said its CIVIL.. not criminal. I disagree. if you have to have a license to practice medicine and use someones elses identity POSING. I think its criminal. are the cops in Matteson IL complacent? Would you want a fake Dr examing you and prescribing medication. Hello, cops what if you were SHOT on the job and a FAKE DR treated you in the emergency room? Matteson polices' complancy allowed this type of thing to happen to me.. its all around the chicago area!

If I do well enough on a civil service exam I will be given a polygraph. The only question I am worried about on the polygraph is "have you ever smoked marijuana?"

I have been told by a couple of firefighters that I should lie on this question and say "no, I have never smoked marijuana"

However, a couple of others have told me that I should just tell them the truth.

I am concerned that telling the truth could cost me the job. What is your advice?

Im a clean person no record nothing to hide, they wanna kill me because i wouldnt make an agreement with them to extend a lease so they view it as me making them loose
$500 000, My question is do you think they really will try to kill me or since they are telling everything they will i should be ok and this is just an intimidation tactic? I dont want to go to the police since they will find out since the local police do illegal business with them. I was considering internal affairs and the RCMP, but want opinions.

Somone who is 18 already applied to a college and shortly afwards got into trouble with the law with stolen goods over $2000. The person isn't convicted yet but most likely will in a couple of months so would this eliminate any chances of the person getting into a good college?

Please take approximately 10 minutes to watch this video.

I know that there are a lot of issues associated with the video. HOWEVER, what I am looking for is:
On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest, please rate the sincerity of the driver.
On a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest, please reate the sincerity of the law enforcement officer.

I understand that they are less lethal than bullets, but come on! I keep seeing these officers tasering people like its nothing and at times when it seems in the most inappropriate situations. Don't get me wrong, I applaud our officers for their hard work trying to keep us safe, but perhaps some additional training is needed on this tool. If you are that afraid that you feel you need to reach for the taser or pepper spray at the getgo, perhaps it is time to get a different job. Am I wrong??

I work at a major theme park. We drop our cash deposits nightly and they are picked up weekly. My boss is telling me one of mine did not make it to the bank, a total of $479. This happens to be one that I failed to log.

Not worried about being fired, I deserve it for not logging the deposit. There is nothing to prove that I dropped it, but I did. However I am worried that they may try to arrest me or charge me with this as a felony (it is over $300).

Can they arrest me? If I quit can they still charge me with this as a felony?

I live in PA and was "pulled over" the other night for being clocked at doing 56 in a 25. I know I wasn't speeding I drive down the road everyday and I know were the cops sit, but they insisted that I was speeding. The funny thing is I was supposedly doing twice the speed limit but they didn't give me any points, number one. And number two the cop that gave me the ticket wasn't the cop that clocked me. I was corralled, like cattle, into a parking lot with several other cars, while more cars went speeding by. I want to know if I request a hearing to challenge the ticket will I have to pay court costs and legal fees, which I know cost and arm and a leg, or would I be better off just paying the ticket regardless of whether or not I know it's bogus?

OK. here's the story of my life, I'm going to study in monash university in melbourne, Australia. I'll graduate with a double degree, bachelor of law/bachelore of criminology and criminal justice. I'm planning to move to the US to work with the FBI as a special agent in the criminal investigation field. I know that I should have a working experience (three years) in what I studied (law). My questions are....

1)- Do I need to have an experience in criminal investigation?
2)- Can I apply as an intern to gain the experience then move to the real work?
3)- Do I need to join the FBI Academy first then apply for a job or applying then they are going to join me to the academy?

I have an acquaintance that can get me a very good position as a parole/probation Officer, I am very close to receiving my degree in Criminal Justice but the only problem is my husbands criminal background with the state and federal! I have never had any kind of a record. So will my husbands record affect me getting that position and/or future jobs as a parole/probation Officer in the federal/state system?

Where I live, there is a building that used to be a former school. I'm not sure what its used for now....but it's no longer a school (and is common knowledge in this small town of 20,000)

Anyway, the streets along side it are still marked 15mph. I noticed while everyone was pretty good about abiding by other school zone speed limits, NO one bothered to slow down from 30 to 15mph by this building.

The other day I saw a person pulled over, and I'm guessing it was probably because they were going the regular speed (30) in the posted 15mph but I'm not sure on that.

Is it still legal to have this street marked as 15mph school zone (it's a busy main artery) even tho the building is no longer used as a school? Just curious, thanks!

Needing to obtain the suspect's signature seems to be a key area where the encounter is just more likely to deteriorate. Would it be a better idea to change the law to allow the dashcam to substantiate proper serving of the summons?

My best guy friend just graduated from the police academy.
I am buying him engraved handcuffs online and am putting his name....but under it you can put something else.

I'm looking for something short and meaningful.....not the department number or anything like that..

Something maybe poetic about friendship or love.

Any ideas??? 10 points to best answer!!!

My girlfriend was arrested and put in the county jail. She's not eligible for bail and because of the charges will be in jail for a minimum of a couple weeks during the court process.

My questions are, can county jail inmates use their personal cell phones that they took with them at the time of the arrest?
Do county jail inmates have access to email?
