You could both be looking at tickets... you for not having a valid license, and your dad for permitting an unauthorized person to drive.

If you father is a person who allows this things could go really bad. If is was just in a parking lot of something he might be able to work it out but again it could go horribly wrong.

Regardless. If you are on a street and bump someone your family will pay out the nose. You will get charged for something and you can face no license for years.

No permit... face some serious financial consequences.

Driving without a permit or license is illegal. You and your Dad would get ticketed. You could be denied getting a permit for a period of time and even until 18 or 21 depending on the judge.

well, that would depend on several things.
If you and your dad are practicing driving in the high school parking lot on a Sunday, that's reasonable.
If you are driving because your father can't ( inebriation, suspended license, etc,) that's another.
If you are driving with out your fathers knowledge or consent, not only are you in a heap of hell dogs, but so is your father, not to mention the insurance premiums if there is an accident or damage to property.

If you have been issued a permit through your State's BMV/ DMV then your name will show in the computer that a temporary permit has been issued.
I, however, am uncertain if you can or will be cited.

well, if you're driving the car, then your permit is automatically suspended, so you would have to wait till 18 to get a valid license, your dad will get a ticket.
