I live in PA and was "pulled over" the other night for being clocked at doing 56 in a 25. I know I wasn't speeding I drive down the road everyday and I know were the cops sit, but they insisted that I was speeding. The funny thing is I was supposedly doing twice the speed limit but they didn't give me any points, number one. And number two the cop that gave me the ticket wasn't the cop that clocked me. I was corralled, like cattle, into a parking lot with several other cars, while more cars went speeding by. I want to know if I request a hearing to challenge the ticket will I have to pay court costs and legal fees, which I know cost and arm and a leg, or would I be better off just paying the ticket regardless of whether or not I know it's bogus?

1. Points are assessed by the state, not the police
2. The officer that clocked you must also identify your vehicle once another officer stops you
3. You only pay court costs and fines if you lose the case

The attorney will probably cost more than the ticket and you pay him whether you win or lose. This is a situation where they clock you with one car and stop you with another. Ohio did this with Michigan drivers entering the State since the speed limits were 10 MPH different at the time. I would just pay it.

THIS IS CALLED AN EMPHASIS PATROL. SEVERAL AGENCIES(COUNTY,CITY,STATE) IN A JOINT VENTURE TO CRACK DOWN ON VIOLATORS OVER THE THANKSGIVING HOLIDAY.

THE OFFICER RELAYS A SPEED TO ANOTHER OFFICER DOWN THE ROAD AND USUALLY GIVES A DESCRIPTION OF THE CAR AND IT IS PULLED OVER. THE FACT THAT SO MANY WERE CORRALLED GIVES RISE TO THE FACT OF DID THE RIGHT VEHICLE GET TICKETED OR WAS YOUR CAR AND COLOR A MATCH FOR ANOTHER(GUILTY PARTY) CAR THAT WENT BY AS YOU WERE PULLED OVER?

YOU HAVE A RIGHT TO A HEARING IN TRAFFIC COURT AND CAN CHALLENGE THE VALIDITY OF THE TICKET BY ASKING WAS A LIC NUMBER GIVEN OR JUST A GENERAL DESCRIPTION OF THE VEHICLE? YOU COULD BE FALSELY ACCUSED IF NO LICENSE NUMBER WAS GIVEN.
NO COST IF NOT GUILTY COST IF YOU ARE FOUND GUILTY. IF YOU KNOW OF ALL THE CARS PULLED OVER YOU COULD HAVE A CLASS ACTION SUIT TO BE FILED.

in case you bypass to courtroom you're able to pay the courtroom value no remember what. that's often 50 funds and a great form of of the time till the police officers don't have the calibration printouts for that day that's extremely complicated to argue a dashing value ticket? till your vehicle defies the regulations of physics or the cop did no longer get you with the radar or laser gun. Oh, and confident the cop would be there on the day of courtroom
