PLEASE ANY POLICE OFFICERS HELP WITH ADVICE, I have group of thugs telling everyone they are going to KILL ME?

Im a clean person no record nothing to hide, they wanna kill me because i wouldnt make an agreement with them to extend a lease so they view it as me making them loose
$500 000, My question is do you think they really will try to kill me or since they are telling everything they will i should be ok and this is just an intimidation tactic? I dont want to go to the police since they will find out since the local police do illegal business with them. I was considering internal affairs and the RCMP, but want opinions.

Also I was thinking of putting everything in a letter in trust to a lawyer to be opened if I go missing or get killed is this also a wise decision?

That's a toughie. My first action would be to call the US Marshall's office or similar, and follow their directions. Don't call anyone who has contacts w/ your local police, if you truly believe that will endanger you. My second action would be to buy a shotgun, some .00 buckshot, and go stay with friends until you feel safe again. Always a good idea to have lawyers apprised of these kind of things.

Go to a lawyer as soon as possible. This is not something to ignore. Threats can be carried out & sometimes aren't but don't take a chance. Seek advice immediately.

Have they told you they were going to kill you or is someone telling you this to scare you. If they are making verbal threats go to your local magistrate and ask for advice if you don't trust the police.
