For full details on this, see my previous post. Day or 2 after the post, the kid did end up beating up my son. Police were called to scene. We had witnesses. Filed summary offense. Parents, I hear, didn't care/weren't mad at their son for police coming to house. They let him go back to same fair 2 days later. I consulted a lawyer, gave him okay to write a letter which will be sent to parents, school officials. My next step lawyer says will be either file civil complaint or private criminal complaint (which lawyer leans toward). My son did not go to doctor, he had wounds on his head from being punched so hard, skin broken open and a 4-inch gash on his arm from falling. Kid is spreading rumors about my son now. I have someone who will testify to what he says. I really want kid to leave son alone, am afraid he will indeed get my son again. I'm afraid lawyer letter will infuriate kid. My son is in fear for 2 years now. I'm leaning toward civil suit and would like opinions

My sister was in a bad car accident and she is in very bad shape. We learned the bastard who hit her had a previous DWI or DUI record in California but the court was not made aware of it. I am not looking for revenge, I am looking for justice
How can I make that info available to the court so they put his *** away?
Please help

I've recently rescued a dog, I took it back to it's owners, and they didn't want him, and offered to give him to me free, we took him, a couple of days later, they are demanding some money for it. We have all of it's paperwork. If they were to take this to the police, what rights would we have? We have everything for the dog, there was no paperwork or anything to sign, it's mine and someone elses word against theres?

What would be likely to happen?

I was pulled over for speeding (51 in a 35) and the police officer gave me a ticket. He said that he'd give me a break (it was my first offense in my 10 years of driving) and write the citation for impeding traffic instead of speeding.

He said that I'll pay a lesser fine and have no points on my license, nor will it be on my driving record. Normally it is 4 points.....what is the difference in speeding and impeding traffic??

will just have you or your family whacked? This is a serious inquiry. Please serious answers only. I have had a competitor brag about having a hit man after he took over my business after my wife was killed in a vehicle accident - run off the road by a meth driver, and I found out later this punk was dealing meth from the business while laundering the proceeds through the till.

I have many reports against him, vandalism, harrasment, threatening, etc. Police say, did you see him? It doesnt matter cause I dont know where he is to put a restraining order against him. (the judge told me) I bought security cams and vcr to hopfully 'catch' him for the police. Shouldnt they be more concerned? I even relocated to hide from him and he Still found me again. I, myself, am not worried but I have children and a husband that is away for a few months. ( plus he has vandalised 3 of my vehicle, yes police were notified ) What are my options, how can I stop him?! Please help too many years this has went on.

The police can upload 'snoopware' like flexispy onto your phone to watch and listen to whats going on around the phone. Can there ever be any good reason why they would need the power to do this? Creepy.

Especially in towns controlled by a few families, will the police do the bidding of those in power when they do not want an arrest made because the victim is someone who has publlicly expressed opinions they do not like?

imagine how life would be without the police - people would learn to stick up for themselves & courageously fight the ills of the world themselves, learn the importance of teaming-up with the like-minded & support each other at times of danger.

Today, because the police exists to take care of the ills and dangers, don't you think these values and skills that people had to learn and adapt themselves to bravely combat the evils, have become extinct? Because anytime if a person is confronted by evil, he invariably uses cop-outs. The average person today cannot bravely defend himself if the police did not exist to help him.

What are your thoughts on this?

IF SOME mother calls her son at home by telling LIE on phone that she is seriously ill and want to see him as soon as possible & tells him to come home for 15 days.
Her son works at a high post in some company at other state , remains very busy & visits home very less.
Then her son takes leave for 15 days & comes home to see her, after knowing the reality he becomes angry , this causes him to loose salary of ½ month & other important works.
That mother was aware of the fact that her LIE can cause her son a big loss of money and job time but still she told LIE to fulfill her desire to see her son…...
has that mother done an offence of CHEATING her son (India) ????

So here is the case. I place an ad on Craiglist about someone that did something to me that he wasn't supposed to, and this someone finds out so he goes to my school and tells the officer there about the ad on Craiglist. The officer then drives over to my house, without calling, and tells me to stop or I will get in trouble. I didn't do anything illegal by posting the ad, I checked with the local PD and they saw and agreed. Was this officer in the right or in the wrong to do what he did? If wrong, what law did he break? P.S- I think he is cool, the next time I saw him at a Starbucks and said hi and all as he drove off :D
