If you`re in ANY data base, the information that is available there may be accessed. If your there for medical reasons, this would not affect your treatment. If you are sought after by authorities for fleeing reasons, the VA may be instucted to report your 'sign in'.

VA does not investigate veterans' legal issues. They only verify the veteran's dates of service, nature of discharge, and eligibility to receive care.

if you were shot during a heist then they have to report gunshot wounds to the police.
