You cant term it as an offence. It is a mistake considering the fact that your son is in a high post . You also make him lose his trust in you. I can understand that you have not been able to spend time with him . It is not an offence nevertheless it is a mistake which will make him lose the trust in you and will hamper the relationship in the future.

Yes the mother has done an offence, but it was not to cheat her son. The offense was to be selfish and uncaring toward her son; the offense was she crushed her son's trust in her.

When a mother calls her son and tells him to hurry home because she is ill, it is indeed a good son who rushes home, despite his business affairs.

Nevermind about the money he lost, she also made him lose trust in her, he's lost "face" to his friends and coworkers, and a little piece of his heart now has a scar deliberately put there by her. The mother should be ashamed of herself.

She would be a selfish, bad mother who doesn't deserve to have her son visit. You stated that he's in a HIGH POST in his company and you would tell him a lie to get him to come home? That's not a crime, but you would be a horrible, selfish, mean woman to do that.

offence is a legal term the mother has not violated any rules/laws. apart from that this issue has to be sorted out between mother and son and not not by outsiders.

Of course she has!!!

She is selfish!

Doesnt she realise that if she really gets sick and cannot take care of herself that her son will have to pay for her care, or take care of her himself.

And how exactly is he to do that if she has caused him to lose his job?

How stupid is she, and selfish.

If she so wanted to see him then she should have visited him for the 15 days.

cheating???????
why? did the son not tell lies when he was a little boy? is time and money everything? are her sentiments worth only half month's salary?
all she wants is little time and attention something she gave in abundance to her son when he needed his mother. is that cheating?
