what is an average sentence for a person who violates formal probation (drug possesion charges) who left the country for about 5 or 6 years. and what is the process for re-instating probation. and also, do the public defenders really know what they are doing and would they be able to help to reduce sentence and/or bail, etc. i need to know this information. (lost a little trust with public defender system due to them pretty much forcing a person to claim they were guilty when they were not) anywho.. any reasonable answers will be appreciated. any negative will be ignored

I got the tickets and I was deployed over seawith the Army. Some drove my car without my permission and now I am ordered to court and if I dont show up they say they are going to put a warrant for my arrest. It kind of seems excessive, I called them and they say its for a meter, and a do not park over nite ticket. They were rude over the phone and say they stick it to lots of other people who were on active duty and out of state when they got their tickets.

I live in Texas and have been at odds with my son's father. He is a drug addict, practices minimal parenting skills, does not pay child support (even though I have a case with the attorney general's office), parties all night and is basically a jerk in denial. I need to get my son out of this situation.

I would like to know if I were to deny visitation to his father, can I go to jail? I figure he is ignoring the court order as well in regards to child support so why should I go to jail if he isn't. But it is about much more than the support. My son is in a dangerous situation!

By the way, his dad would seriously be angry and there would be consequences in my doing this. He is a control freak and if things aren't going his way, we all have to watch out!

I work for such an agency, and we are not allowed to burn it in a big fire pit. Know of any other ways to dispose of it fast?

I heard today of an incident in Ireland where some vigilantes got hold of a drug dealer, Tar & Feathered him and left him tied to a lamp post. Is the general feeling out there that more of this will happen if the law is not changed to help the victim of a crime and not the waster who committed it.

Come on UK lets reclaim our streets. Good idea or not.

basically, my gf had sent her crazy ex bf(who just happens to be a gangster/drug dealer) to jail......we just found out he's gonna get out in a couple of days. she has a restraining order on him, but honestly what's the point? as soon as he gets out he's just gonna try and kill her. i've honestly run out of ideas and this is real serious. of course the cops won't listen because he hasn't done anything yet, and it's so sad because they are pretty much doing nothing about it. so please, if anyone has any SERIOUS suggestions then i would love to hear what you think. i was thinking about hiring like a bodyguard but i really dont have any money......so like i said, this is real serious and i need help asap - we're both really freaked out and don't know what to do. He's huge, crazy and has easy access to guns.

What do I do if I encounter police while on legal drugs? Most of them are probably to dumb to know that there are legal drugs, but some of them are pretty good at recognising stoned people, so if im stoned on legal herbal marijuana (like spice), or on other legals, what can I do to make the police go away?

There are legal recreational drugs, pills, herbal mixes, you can even get a legal cocaine substitute called subcoca i think. There is no perscription involved, and I dont drive while under the influence of anything, and never cause trouble. You buy them from headshops, and most can't be used for medical purposes, as having a perscription drug when you arent on that perscription is a class C offense. I am talking legal drugs that you buy from credible shops for the purpose of being recreational. It appears lots of people other than cops dont know that there are legal recreational drugs other than alcohol and tobacco (many of which are safer than both.

I guess nobody cares. and like I said, I do have pictures which proves she was attacked. thank you mike citrus county fl.

If you get arrested but are later de-arrested does this mean in effect you never got into trouble and there won't be any record of this whatsoever? And would this mean that you wouldn't have been cautioned? I only ask as my mate was arrested while drunk and in the company of a idiot who started causing criminal damage. He only remembers being told he was de-arrested after giving a statement and released later that night. (The bloke owned up to it) He is now joining the police but is worried about it showing up as he didn't declare it on his form as it asked for cautions/convictions. Any serious answers would be great with full score going to an accurate answer!

I was sexually assaulted by a colleague. It wasn't rape but it was close. It was unconsented sexual contact. I haven't reported him because I knew him well enough to know he hasn't done this before and won't again. He did regret this not that that excuses him, and I know he won't do it to another person. We don't work closely, but sometimes he'll come upstairs and talks to someone who sits near me and it's really upsetting to have him near me. I reported what he did to my manager and I wondered if they have an lawful obligation to keep him away?
