Illegal is illegal. Don't be surprised if he turns you in. What are you in a hurry for anyway? Your funeral? Slow down you move too fast, got to make the moment last.

Unless this old guy is somehow politically connected in your city I doubt you have anything to worry about.

The local PD have got more important things to deal with than a cold allegation of reckless driving or speeding. Maybe you'll get a call from the officer who receives the report from the old guy. If you've got a reasonable driving record, it'll be your word against the old folk's. Don't give an attitude and you will not give the cop a reason to write you.

Regarding the issue of a cop having to witness a traffic infraction/offense to write a ticket. This is untrue. It'll be based on more than he said/she said, but if the cirumstances (ie damage/mutliple third party witnesses etc) warrant it, I have no problems issuing a ticket for something that I haven't seen.

Just slow down, and you will not have to worry about this ever again.

As long as he didnt take a picture of you while you were performing the illegal maneuver, you should be able to get out of anything that comes up. It will be your word against his, and last time I checked, in America, you innocent until PROVEN guilty.
Just tell them that you saw some weird old guy taking pictures of you at an intersection=)
In addition, I think that people that drive too fast OR too slow are selfish, especially on a one way road. Doing BOTH can be dangerous (Why do you think they have maximum AND minimum speed limits on some roads). The person who wants to go fast is not always wrong!!!
Keep the foot down!!! Men!!!! I'm all for PDRF (People for Driving Real Fast!!!)

Old man should lose his license. He is too busy writing and taking pics and not concentrating on his driving. People: hang up while driving, and watch how you're driving. I am sick and tired of lousy drivers!

I wouldn't worry about it, your word against his.

I almost got in a car accident in a parking lot today from a woman driving while talking on her cell phone.

The***PRANOGRAPHER***as usual has the answer. Put a bumper sticker on your car that says, "jesus sucks" Then claim the old guy took your pic because the sticker angered him. It has worked for the***PRYNOGRAPHER***many times. Keeps people from tailgating my bumper. They think reading the truth might in someway cause them to go to hell.
Relax it is your word against his DO A BOWL, but not while driving.

You cant get away with anything anymore btw. I've heard it recommended in a few places that if someone cuts you off in traffic, you should take a photo of them. Same goes for road rage. I took a pic of this guy who was brake-jacking me, and he got scared and drove away immediately. Its like taking a pic of them snaps them back into reality.

No big deal. He just wants you to worry. A Policeman must see the traffic offense. If no one is hurt and you're not a drunk weaving all over the place you have nothing to worry about.

He probably can't see well enough to write down your license number correctly so don't worry!

If he did take down your info, then yes you could get in trouble. But I doubt if he would bother.
