wife found outside on back with tangerine size contusion on forehead & was dead. later at funeral , took pictures of hand & thumb print on right forearm, bruised and skinned knuckles on left hand. she had been fighting for her life. also money was missing. sheriff's office refuses to investigate. waiting for toxicology report.said it wasn't what caused her death. but clearly she had been attacked. have contacted everybody I can think of with no results. I guess nobody cares. and like I said, I do have pictures which proves she was attacked. thank you mike citrus county fl.

Go to the District Attorney's office for your evidence. If that doesn't work, try the media.
Can you hire a private investigator to take fingerprints,etc?

Im not in law enforcement but I can tell you that it does sound pretty suspicous. I have watched enough Cold Case Files and Forensic Files, on Courtv and A&E and it sounds like a classic case of your wife fighting for her life from an attacker. My advice for you would be to keep pressing the sherriffs office, and if you cant find answers hire a private investigator. My aunt was killed in 1969 by an attacker and it was widely ignored by the local county sherriffs office in North Carolina, and my family hired a private investigator and the killer was charged for murder 25 years later. So dont give up on finding answers, and like I said hire a private investigator if you have to. God Bless.

Your wife's injuries sound more consistent with her falling and striking her head and skinning her knuckles, not foul play. I'm sure the Sheriff's Department investigated the death and all indiciations were it was an accidental death.
If the toxicology test show evidence of illegal drugs, it will explain where the "missing" money went.

I would talk with the coroner to see his impression. Also ask if there were any foreign DNA under her nails. Contact the police chief and talk with them. FL is a strange state!

you need to talk to someone who has a higher authority in the police department, and if you still end up no where take the the issue to your local congressman or senator

Call your local news stations and news papers, and tell them your story.
Law enforcement does not like this type of attention and may get the results you desire.
