Hey....that is horrendous! I've been on the receiving end (not sexual as you called it but he always found ways to put his hands on me in a 'harmless' manner even though it invaded my personal space) as well with a much older colleague. All his friends he hung out with were upper executive management and he'd been around the company 20 plus years while I'd only been for a few years. So I never took it to the next level because I knew in that old boy's club, my life at that company would've been made hell. I personally spoke to him about and he kept off but he always came around to talk to other co workers and say hi to me. I became so aggravated and couldn't focus on work. He was the nice guy that everyone liked and they called him harmless. I was young, attractive (not being cocky here) and people have always said how I dress up so nice for work. I finally left on my accord because it wasn't worth it for me to take it to the next level in the long run but sometimes I do wonder (I don't regret my decision not to complain) what would've, could've happened but I don't dwell on it.
Your company is very much obligated to do something about your complaint. They are supposed to protect you from sexual harassment. If it makes you uncomfortable, then it's something very wrong. Your employer is responsible to take action such as letting go of the person. One big thing, they don't want to get sued either. You can inquire with your manager if they're going to take any action but you're not required to do that. If anything, go straight to your Human Rescources because they're required to keep things private vs a manager (I hope your manager is a good person).
BTW, you don't really know if he hasn't done this before. So don't consider that into your factor.
Good luck girl!

Sexual misconduct is unexcusable on any level. If you witness or are sexually harrassed by anyone of any gender, it is your moral responsibility to report the incident to your supervisor. if you do not feel comfortable with telling the supervisor then it is your right to go as far up the chain of command as you have to in order to report the incident. And just because you do not feel that it is harrassment doesnt mean that others dont feel the same way. In any case, depending on the severity of the situation, the company has obligations that require them to investigate the incident in a orderly fashion and as private as humanly possible. if nothing has been done as of yet, then its time to call an outside entity.
it is not your fault, and you will not be punished for it.
God bless
i have included a link I think you might find usefull in the reporting procedures.

If you reported it to your supervisor, then the company is required to discipline the employee., if it occurred on company property, or on company time. If this didnt happen at work, then they have much wider discretion. Given the severity of the accusation, he most likely will be terminated. (Failing to terminate the employee will make them liable for a lawsuit from any other employee he may harass in the future). Make sure that your complaint was in writing, and that Human Resources was notified.

If you reported it to your manager, he/she is legally obligated to take action. I would be interested in knowing how you KNOW he hasn't done this before or won't do it again. He should be fired if the company knows of his behavior because after being notified, the next time could get real expensive for them.

your company should have a policy in place to deal with exactly this situation if the manger fails to properly follow the companies procedures when a complaint like this is filed, the manger and the company can latter be held liable for the workers actions
