do they keep some kind of record that they pulled you over but just let you go, or do they not even bother, and let you off completely without keeping any tabs on you?

There has been a rise in police violence in the Western World particularly in USA.
Maybe it is due to academies accepting more gung ho applicants.

my children were abducted/kidnapped by State Officials, nobody in our system wants to correct the matter I've been
all the way to the top (Mr. Bush ) himself with documented
proof. Lawyers, Judges (State/Federal ) congressmen, Sen
ators, Representatives, State and Federal prosecutors, the
FBI. Proof of the crimes out in front of their faces and they
all claim it was a mistake. It's a mistake on their part but one
of us civilians commit the same act, it's a crime. sounds like
a double-standard of law or bosshog politics. laws intended
to protect the people are ignored. Reason I know this is I am
a 24-year self motivated studier of law, and I'm not wrong. one
lawyer has already agreed, but no action of correcting the wrong, no justice

My picture blurs after zooming in.
This vehicle has been very suspiciously patrolling our neighborhood and the police won't do anything until we get a license plate number.

I know they have jurisdictional differences (FBI are in charge of federal cases whereas detectives are in charge of cases within the city). But are FBI agents supposed to be smarter than Detectives?

i think everyone has seen it, but here is the link anyway:

Here are the viewpoints that I have heard. I am on the fence between two of them:

1) The subject had the right to speak (even though he was being obnoxious, as we could probally all agree on. Nothing should have happened

2) The cops were right when they arrested him, however it was not necessary to use the taser in a crowded auditorium with cameras everywhere when he was clearly a 130 pound weakling that could have been handled with much less manpower then was available in the video, without using a taser.

3)The cops were completely justified in arresting him, the charges that were filed against him (inciting a riot), and the use of the taser was completely justified.

Recently I have seen cities institute laws that folks can't wear saggy pants. When last I saw, the First Amendment (you know, the U.S. Constitution), allows freedom of expression.

Of course, you can't yell fire in a theater for safety concerns. What are the dangers of letting people sag?????

The AP had a story today (it's currently on Yahoo News) that althought the demonstration in Jena yesterday was well attended and had people marching, signs, and people holding clinched fists in the air that was the only similarity with the civil rights marches of the 60's----in the reporter's own words----there were no police dogs and firehoses. In fact, one of the people attending the march said it was a lot of fun.

Since police dogs weren't turned loose on the demonstators and firehoses weren't turned on them, and there were no beatings by the police, is this a sign that race relations in the South have improved

If you want to be a permanant resident in OUR United States.
You should have to
Join a branch of the United States Military.
Be taught correctly how to speak OUR langauge, respect for others, disciplined and learn to respect OUR Flag, laws , and our Constitution.
Volunteer to go to Iraq and fight for a year.
Prove to us that you are worthy !!!
that you will Fight for OUR Country ; Be willing to Die for OUR Country .
Just as we do and are expected to do.
You should earn your right to be here.
Not expecting everything to be handed to you.
While OUR people suffer by unemployment, poor medical benefits, underhoused...
And, So, that our men can come home, back to his/her Country.
I do not mean to sound rude and harsh.
But I feel this would be the most honorable way to obtain Citizenship in our United States of America.
And I feel that EVERY Illegal Immigrant should have to go through this Process.
If you are not free-willing to do this.
Then you do not deserve to be here!

I goofed and now have a second moving violation within 1 year of my last one. I took traffic school for the first one to remove the points. According to the DMV site, I can't take it again within 18 months of the first violation. However, the courtesy notice I just got from the SCC court house offers me a chance to take it again (at a $14 premium over not taking it).

Should I just go ahead and take it?
Are they going to realize later that I already took it and say that I can't (and not refund the money)?
Are they going to wait until I take and pay for the traffic school and then say that I can't do it and leave the point on my record?
Is this common?

So last month, I got pulled over for wearing my seat belt under my arm. I understand completely NOW that this is illegal. Please dont explain to me how I should have known, etc. I have a mitigation hearing in one hour. I really wouldnt be so concerned about a $125 ticket, if that was the end of it I would pay it and go on with my life. However, I have a deferred speeding ticket for $280 that will appear back on my record and that I will have to pay for if I am convicted of the seatbelt violation. Now Im not trying to claim ignorance, although it may sound just like that. But honestly, I had no idea that you can get cited for wearing your seatbelt under your arm. I am short, 5'2, so since the day I got my license, I have worn my seatbelt under my arm because it digs into my neck. Since the day I got pulled over, I havent once worn my seatbelt under my arm. I have no problem following the law, but dont you think it should be made known exactly what is legal and what is not?
