heres what i am going to do but i need all the rules if i am going to do this..i am going to go to new york with my dad for winter break which is in about two weeks to get my license and then i am coming back to Florida to exchange it for a Florida license..if u look threw my old questions u can c why i am asking this and why i dont just get my license here..is this possible??? i really dont see how it isnt or if its illegal cuz i kno its not

o my bad by the way people i am egally able to get a license because i am 16 and u onyl have to be 16 in new york but u dont have to hold ur permit for any amount of time to get ur license but here in florida is 1 year so thats y i am doing it

u dont have to look i just told u the other information idiot if u can read u would have saw it..but my mistake on the other info i am staying with my dad for two weeks..and about the license rules are worse than floridas thats not the point i am not going to be there for longer than two weeks anyway i jus need the license so i can come back to florida and be able to drive without someone 21....now can some1 please understand the question and tell me a good answer who actually knows what they are talking about??

You cannot get a drivers license in a state in which you are not a resident. Even if you visit New York, you are still a Florida resident. Further, you cannot just "exchange" one license for another, so even if you WERE a New York resident and then moved to Florida, you would have to qualify for a Florida license under Florida law.

Bottom line: fagedaboutit.

First. you should learn to read. I have included the requirements to get a NY drivers license when under 18. It is WORSE than Floridas law.
