I was pulled over and ticketed for having expired tabs yesterday. Can I get ticketed again for this or is there a certain amount of time I get to get it renewed?

You can be cited everyday for the same violation. The ticket does not allow you to operate the vehicle illegally.

You can get multiple tickets for the same offense. It would be just like getting multiple parking tickets for leaving your car in a place that it shouldn't be.

If I were you, I would take both citations to court, showing that you received them on the same day, and that immediately after the second one go and renew your tabs. The prosecutor will probably dismiss one and make you pay for the other.

You will show the next cop who pulls you over the ticket but they can ticket you again if they're so inclined. You're supposed to have the vehicle off the road as soon as you're on notice until it's renewed.

Yes you can !! if you recieve more than one ticket on the same day the second one will be thrown out. But you can be ticketed each day if you do not pay for registration fees.

You can keep getting a ticket every time you get caught.

You have already been lucky that they let you drive away. They could have towed your vehicle. There is no defense for continuing to violate the same law.

Why don't you just go renew your licenses instead of worrying about it?
