I got a ticket thru mail yesterday for red light violation. It came with 4 photos of my car. It was taken by an automated photo red light camera. 1st photo reflects that I stopped behind the limit line and 2nd photo reflects that I made a right turn with no pedestrians, bicyclists and other vehicles. The photos show the whole intersection. It does not have a "No Turn On Red" sign nor a red arrow light. Why did I still receive this ticket? Could it be a mistake? What should I do? Please provide the steps.

YORKTOWN, Ind. (AP)

A man accused of snatching another man's false teeth straight from his mouth during a fight has been charged with robbery.
Robert Henry Stahl, 62, was charged Thursday in Delaware Circuit Court with felony robbery and battery causing bodily injury, a misdemeanor. If convicted of robbery, he could face two to eight years in prison. Police and prosecutors said they did not know if Stahl had retained an attorney.
Billie Townsend, 56, told police he went to a bar on July 27 to pay Stahl money he owed him, then Stahl asked him to go outside and started punching him repeatedly.
During the fight, Stahl allegedly put Townsend in a headlock and removed his false teeth.

To me it seems like a lot of cops are using taser guns when they don't have to. If the person is in handcuffs, I believe their is no reason to taze them.

I know that cops don't file the charges, but do they have to inform you when files get charged against you. Or would they say nothing and just put a warrant out for you and wait till you get caught?

On Friday, December 1, 2006 there was a private party, attended mostly by whites, at the Fair Barn. Five black youths, including 16-year-old Robert Bailey, attempted to enter the party at about 11 p.m. According to U.S. Attorney Washington, they were told by a woman that they were not allowed inside without an invitation. The five youths persisted, stating that some friends were already in attendance at the party. A white man, who was not a student,[5] then jumped in front of the woman and a fight ensued. After the fight was broken up, the woman told both the white man and five black youths to leave the party. Once outside, the black students were involved in another fight with a group of white men, who also were not students.[5] Police were then called to investigate. Several months later, Justin Sloan, a white male, was charged with battery for his role in the fight and was put on probation. Bailey later stated that one of the white men had broken a beer bottle over his head.

The officer was had a report the landscapers had fly tipped . After explaining to the landscapers , and being told we wasnt in, he walked into my backgarden and went to my conservatory door.
The landscapers , he knew were the people he wanted to speak to because the van had their name on it.
When i was told about it i rang them.I asked why did he enter my garden he said he wanted to be sure we knew the gardeners.
They had been doing the garden for 2 weeks so we obviously knew them, and so did he after he had spoken to them.
I have a parrott worth £1500 in the conservatory and the back is kept secure.
Did he trespass on my land without reasonable cause,And is his excuse he wanted to speak to us rubbish , as he should have come to the front door like any normal person wanting to speak to the house owner should?

This happened to my place of business a while ago. Someone broke the window to my office with a rock and i was worried they would come back and try to get through the broken window to cause further damage or steal something so i waited there late into the night. They never came back, but my question is what are my rights as a citizen if someone is vandalizing my personal property? Can physically restrain them while i call the police?

In the last few weeks a woman and a college student were tasered by police officers. There were more than one police officer there and they should have been able to contain these people without the use of tasers. The police are getting too carried away with this method. Police officers, if you are seen tasering people without warrent, prepare yourself for the unexpected!

Florissant — An Arnold police officer was suspended and then resigned Thursday after threatening a man at a White Castle while off duty earlier in the morning.

Police officer Christopher Hoelscher of Florissant had been on the Arnold force for about six months, authorities said.

A man told police Hoelscher was in the car behind him at the drive-through of the restaurant on Lindbergh Boulevard at Patterson Road when he got out of his SUV and started threatening him.

"The officer was in line to go through the White Castle, and he's behind the other car," explained Florissant Police Chief William Karabas. "For whatever reason, (the officer) gets angry and gets out of the car and starts shouting at him."

The man, who police did not identify, moved forward in his car. At this point, the stories differ, Karabas said.

Hoelscher told authorities the man got out of his car and pulled up his shirt to display a weapon. The man told police Hoelscher drew his service weapon without provocation and then kicked his car.

Florissant police were called to the restaurant. They grabbed Hoelscher and handcuffed him on the ground. He was arrested and brought to the Florissant police department.

The Florissant officers spotted Hoelscher's police uniform in his SUV. They later informed the Arnold police of what happened.

Hoelscher was not immediately charged and was later released. Karabas said Florissant police would present their case to the prosecuting attorney for possible charges.

their faith in guns will "save" them from having to go to their "Heaven" for a long time. A contradiction? "I have faith that such a place exists, but I will shoot anybody that tries to send me there by shooting me. I will shoot him first. Better he go to Heaven (or Hell) than me. And of course it is always the other person who will go to Hell for killing a fellow being. This dreamer will go to Heaven for his killing, because he reasons that if he didn't shoot the other guy, the other guy might have shot him. One killer goes to Heaven and the other killer goes to Hell. It takes a lot of faith to believe that convoluted nonsense, doesn't it?
When he meets God at the pearly gates, he will say "God, you have to let me into Heaven, because the United States Constitution guarantees me the right to own a gun, and not even God can buck the United States Constitution." And God will reply "You're right. I have been outruled by your Constition. You have beaten me with your faith!

I am 24. At the beginning of this year, I made a very valuable mistake by going into a grocery store and taking 25.00 worth of food. I bought some things, but took the things that I could not afford. I had no lawyer or defense, because I was scared and had never done anything like this, so I didn't know what to do. I've heard that based on the cost of the goods taken, the judge would be more lenient. Now I have a record for petty theft, I got 3 years of probation, and had to pay a fine of $310.00. I was cool with everything except the 3 years of probation. Now I can't get this sh!t expunged for another 2 years and 5 months. I'm 24 and can't stay at this sh!t job for $9.50 an hour and not afford college. I've had jobs my whole life and can't even apply at some temp agency due to having a misd. for petty theft. I don't want to sell myself short, but at this point, nobody will hire me and I can't afford school (financial aid turned me down). Should I strip for a minute? Need to eat.

I am not saying dangerious affenders, but the people there for car offenences, unpaid tickets, offenders that are not dangerious This was done in the USA at one time, I don't know if the convicts were used in canada, but as far as i can see if they have enough people to over see them, it would save canadian cities a lot of money This could help to give some of these people a little insight and it may change thier views on crime

I don't know who these people are. Every time I go somewhere they are there. I walk and they have sports cars. During the day and night. It is country roads and they seem unpatrolled by police when they are around. I've been walking these roads for months since my car broke down. I've had a couple try to scare me off the road by almost running me over. They follow me all the way home. I won't be intimidated by punks so I can't stop walking since it is the only way to get around. What should I do?

Let's see, if the judge finds you guilty, they get your money.
If the judge finds you NOT guilty, the DON'T get your money.
Gee, how do you think they're going to find?

Now, I'm no legal expert, but isn't that a conflict of interest? The cops & judges should be forced to just give the money to charity, instead of keeping it, lest the cities & counties grow too dependent on traffic ticket revenue, and begin to abuse the process, as they are now.

I was coming home from a costume party a month ago, and was dressed as a sexy policewoman. I wasn't even thinking about it, and went into a local coffee shop. When I went to pay they said "Oh no, it's on the house." It didn't even occur to me til I was driving away, that they assumed I was a real cop, and gave me free coffee. I went back 2 days later, ordered, and they gave me my meal free! So I've been back about 5 times, each time my stuff is free. Am I going to get in trouble for this? Does this count as impersonating an officer?
