The officer was had a report the landscapers had fly tipped . After explaining to the landscapers , and being told we wasnt in, he walked into my backgarden and went to my conservatory door.
The landscapers , he knew were the people he wanted to speak to because the van had their name on it.
When i was told about it i rang them.I asked why did he enter my garden he said he wanted to be sure we knew the gardeners.
They had been doing the garden for 2 weeks so we obviously knew them, and so did he after he had spoken to them.
I have a parrott worth £1500 in the conservatory and the back is kept secure.
Did he trespass on my land without reasonable cause,And is his excuse he wanted to speak to us rubbish , as he should have come to the front door like any normal person wanting to speak to the house owner should?

No he did not tresspass.

He has a right to enter property in the course of his work to investigate and at the end of the day he was looking out for you

I think he may owe you an explanation which you will not get because these people sem to be able to do as they wish. However trespass is not an offence in itself you would have to prove damage. He did not enter your house, so no criminal offence. Frankley I feel you are over reacting

All kinds of unelected officials now have right of access not only to our land but also our property here in UK.

We are no longer a free people and our liberty has been taken away.

The reason apparently is because you might be up to no good and they, the Big Brother informants, must keep tabs on us at all times.

Soon you will have to install a spy-cam in every room in your house.

The News Show, which will come on at 6pm sharp every day, will be fronted by a large picture of Big Brother.

Obey or die!

Personally I wouldn't get too exercised about it. Just a thought, if they WERE a load of rogues flytipping in your garden you'd be a little peeved if he hadn't checked, wouldn't you?
