I know this is a very "tough" topic, but I am not here to discuss that. I live in Texas, and I would just like some info on who I can write to petition against the death penalty, or if there are any reliable sources, websites, groups, etc...that I can go to.

i got a new driving lisence which is of a new design, the bouncers didnt know and tried to confiscate it because they thought it was a fake. just makes me wonder can bouncers confiscate your id?

I work for a small rental car company in Maryland. I have to check the customer's license to see if they are valid and if they have any warrants out for thier arrest. Is there a quicker way to do this than having to call dmv every time- when I call in the process is very slow, I'm trying to streamline the paperwork process so that the customer is in and out in a timely fashion. I don't need a full, detailed criminal or driving history, I just want to check the license to see if is valid and not suspended.

we recently started moving out. we had to be out by the 30th which is tomorrow. well the landlord has called my mother who lives with us several times on her job. we went over last night to get the last of our stuff. everyone works and only one car, come to find out my landlord has had people in the apartment they have painted it and ruined some of our things and stolen stuff. my question is this.. is she legally allowed to go into that apartment before we turn in the keys. hen we got there last night she had people in there cleaning. someone stole 2 antique plates that were worth a grand or more each.she claimed we owed her money so we think she stole them. also do we have a criminal case against her

I know its a problem, but I have not met or even seen anybody who's been on meth, ice, crystal, speed, whatever you want to call it. What does it do to them? How do they act? Have you ever known anyone who has used it? Did it destroy their lives or were they able to quit using it?

These jurists would be not from the original trials of the prisoners. They would be separate from those trials. They would be law abiding citizens who are found to be functionally psychologically acceptable to a court of law.
They would meet with prisoners in groups once per month, kind of like an intervention and a judge would moderate the two groups, 12 prisoners and 12 jurists. We probably would not call them jurists then, probably civilizers?

got a speeding ticket back in april, im not sure what the cop said exactly, but i remember something about going to court, and theres a court date on my ticket.

but anyways, they sent me a mail and said the fine was $160. and i paid for it immediately.

now the question is.....do i still have to go to court for this? or do i only go to court if i want to contest this ticket?

i have a friend who was given permission to stay at someones house , while staying at tis house two males came to the house and and said they were friends of the owner of the house , the two gentlemen were obviously very shady charaters and bad news , as the day progressed a couple more friends of these two gentlemen , appeared , as the night went on my freind was trying to stay clear of these people who were gathering at this house , my friend was in the garage minding his own business , and all of a sudden he heard a bunch of yelling and fighting going on, and the two men that appeared in the first part of the day starting beating two other guys with a baseball bat , and my freind did not witness this beating when it happened , but did go to investigate after the noise stopped , one of the guys was on the ground bleeding from his head , he was obviously very injured , the other guy that was getting beat was able to run out the house and escape , my freind was able to get away too l

i was told from a cop thats a mother and father of 16 and 17 taking there 9 month old baby in a taxi you can't do nothing baby dont have to were a seat belt is this right or wrong ? i think its wrong baby cant were set belts he is to young he can't buckle up whe is the baby's rights.

My dad let me use his car to drive from Manchester back home. My BMW is being serviced.

I got flashed on motorway midnight. in his car..I shouted about the police and being unfair. The woman said she will restrain me, I said try it and ill restrain you. This point I went to my pocket. They both then said they could smell cannabis on me when i moved my pocket, BULL, stereotypical for asians with fast cars.

Anyways they stop and searched there and then and found it.

They gave me a caution for cannabis.

I got a SEIZURE NOTICE form. road traffic act RTA

My dad collected his car today with a large bill from garage after the police stamped it.
I was MADE to go to the police station. 1.30AM
They made a statement and MADE me sign it. HE MADE ME SIGN it. saying i was driving an insured car YES. i had £10 weed on me YES. I signed it.
he said i can leave. left me outside, 1.45 am FREEZING weather after a night out.

What happens now? They let me go? My dad has car back now. now what? end of?

I ask this question because their are a lot of people who drink and drive all the time and never get caught. Will you ever change your bad habits? Or do you truly believe alcohol doesn't affect your ability to drive? We are quick to judge other people who are slammed on TV for a DUI arrest? Seriously, do you ever try and stop your friends from driving drunk? Hide their keys? Call someone to pick them up? Call a cab?
I'm not saying you can't party your butt off and have a good time but what plans do you make to get home safe?

This must be the pride of the state of Arkansas' law enforcement. Skateboarding may be a misdemeanor, but think about how many real criminals got away because these police decided to throw some defenseless kids around.

I hope their parents file a lawsuit.
