My back wheels were in the bus stop but I did not leave the vehicle and they decided I was parked after watching for just ONE minute. Does this constitute bing parked in a bus stop or do I have grounds for an appeal? If so does anyone have a stadard format letter for fighting these robbing swines? It seems it is just another covert way of making money.

Dont these people have any ambition in life Why they dont make very much money if they actualy do there job there is a possibility of getting shot they work crap hours and people only respect them because they can write tickets I understand large cities like LA they work hard but every where else they are a bunch of mindless people ridding around in a crown vic with enough switches that dont do anything just to keep them entertained and if you are a cop dont be so cocky I was making more than you were when I was 16 running a snow cone stand during the summer I know that a police force is important so why dont we raise the salaryies and the standards so we can get these cuff and gun toting power tripping monkeys working another crap they are not qualified for like a crash dummy or something

If the Law is Innocent until proven guilty, why do we lock people in cages until they prove they are innocent?

who is living in Airdrie. Why don't these animals have their addresses made public. Why are they protected. This makes me sick !!! This idiot said he will offend again, " and this time he won't get caught", and still he has not been locked up. If anyone knows where he is living they should be made to inform the general public as soon as possible before someone else becomes a victim. He needs to be locked up and the key thrown away!

I received a citation for speeding tonight on my way home from work. I work late and as a female driving at night I am always cognizant of tailgaters, someone was riding my bumper and so I sped up in order to pull away from them as I am very aware of criminal opportunities against women like smash and grabs and scams where a driver rear ends you and tries to get you to pull over, I guess I watch too much court tv. Anyway, the next thing I know there is a police car behind the tailgater, pulling me over. I have never gotten a speeding ticket before and have an excellent driving record. I guess when the officer asked me if I knew why he pulled me over and I responded "was it for speeding?" that I pretty much incriminated myself, I suppose I could have expressed why I was speeding but I have a feeling it would have fallen on deaf ears. because of my clean record he states he cited me for going 10 over instead of the actual radar of 14, some favor...right. Should i fight this in court

My original question is what is the ballpark jail time for someone who gets caught stealing clothes and doesn't pay the fine? Also wondering if there is a website listing various offenses and jail times for those offenses.
Thank you very much for your answers.

Is there a place - I'll make this up - The Center For Arson Research - maybe sponsored by insurance companies - where you can go to inquire whether your tenants have had - for example - clothes dryer fires - at prior residences.
I am evicting some bad actors and right at the end my house was on fire due to a clothes dryer fire. I am suspicious.

I am taking a police physical test in a few weeks and was looking at the requirements to pass. Why do women have it way easier? For example:
In 2 minutes men have to do 43 pushups. Women, however, only have to do 19. On running men are required to do 2 miles in 15:56. Women get an extra 3 minutes though. What gives? Wheres all this equality stuff I am always hearing?

I keep reading about police departments requiring a Honorable Discharge, so does that mean you must have joined the military and then been honorably discharged or can you still become a police officer without any military experience?

I think I know who did it. This is the 2nd time. This is just some punk with nothing better to do, we've never met but he lives on my street. If I tell the cops, with no evidence or proof, can they do anything except write a report infront of me to show me how well my tax dollars are being spent and then whipe their *** with it when they leave?

Im thinking without proof I have nothing. In that case, I want to make a statement of my own. Any good noise-free ideas?

Is this odd for a DUI, last night, myson was charged for speeding and a DUI. When we went and bailed him out he still had his drivers license and Keys to his car. They never took them away. When the did the breath test it was higher at the scene it was higher when they hauled him in. When he was there is was .01 under the limit. He also had to take a blood test. The first test had to be tossed because they put it in the wrong tube. The second time they used the same arm and couldn't get any more so they poked him for the 3rd time is this also legal?
