Speeding or otherwise? Yesterday I got pulled over for the 2nd time but I still haven't received a ticket without a mention of "citation" or "warning"...

I'm black. Getting pulled over and not getting a ticket is unheard of for me.

Edit:
For DH1977:
I am not trying to make a race issue out of this, nor did I imply that white people don't get tickets. I'm just stating from personal experience (and those of my black friends), that when it comes to getting pulled over, we dont get the breaks, and we get pulled over for the silliest of reasons. Sorry if you dont see it that way! Guess you would have to be black to know what I'm talking about!

My first ticket ever was when I was 19 years old. I stopped to size up a parallel parking space, then decided it was too small to attempt. I got a ticket for "impeding the traffic."

I'd never been pulled over before that.

I have only been pulled three times. I got a ticket the first two times. I got a warning my third time.

I've lost track of all the times i've either been stoped or caught on speed cameras etc. I good trick is to register your vehicle under a different address to your license that way if you get caught on camera they will write to your other address asking for confirmation of the driver. If you do not reply with your details i.e driver license number, they can't put points on your license ( as they can't tie up both address's )only fine you for not supplying details. Most of the time (2 out of 3 ) if you do not reply they do not chase this up and take no action at all. Ps Its not a good idea to speed in built up areas, but they tend to put cameras everywhere these days to make money !! Good luck
