Is a concealed weapon a felony in California?

someone i know was in posesion of a firearm. is this a felony? he only has 4 months of probation to go and he is having a hard time finding a job. also how do you approach this in the interview?

I can say that california is a hard state to get a permit to carry a concelled weapon. but to even purchase one you need a hand gun safety certificate. as for job hunting tell your friend to get the heck out of california it isn't worth it to stay.

NO YOU HAVE THE RIGHT TO OWN AND CARRY A GUN! they do, however, make you take classes to get a permit.

They try to get around the second amendment any way they can.
